Ok, if it weren't for the fact that Paulrus' joke was really bad, I probably would be mad. But as it was really lame, I could care less.
Well, that's good. I didn't want to make anyone mad.
You have to admit the joke is pretty lame.

Yeah I read that before…. I wonder if they will play the new album for the concert in Mexico in May. I still can't find love for their last one.
Thanks Mr. Sun King !

It'd be nice to see them come out with a new one. I've always had a soft spot for U2 because of their messages in the songs and how they are suppose to mean something. And after reading Bob Hillburn's book “Cornflakes with John Lennon ” it gives me newfound respect for them.

My inner 12 year old wants to let everyone know I am meeting a guy who seems pretty cool on Friday.
(Please don't ask me about it, though, just yet. I'll let you know, if necessary.)

I would like to congratulate your inner 12 year old, and ask whether he is a Beatles fan.

HA! Yeah, that came up on my radio this afternoon. What can I say, I kinda like that song.
I *did not* ask him whether he was a Beatles fan (just yet) but we had a conversation about religion/spirituality right off the bat, so close enough? Ha ha!

I think the state I live in now has maybe 4 or 5 cities in its top 10!

It depends on where you live. A lot of those towns are in the Central Valley which isn't a really prosperous place. On top of that, California as a whole, counting in the wealthier areas still has a ridiculous unemployment rate. We have a ridiculously high sales tax, and those cities are pretty much in the desert. It gets disgustingly hot in the summer there and it's probably an unbearable place to live then. Also, housing prices here have dropped considerably, which is bad news for those who bought them at a high price.
But the categories they are using can be called subjective, I think. I've never been to the Central Valley (just through it) and it always seemed to have not much going for it.

The situation hasn't really changed, outside of there being less riots or whatever. Unfortunately for the people there, the United States is getting involved. Mubarek is still in power, the people still want him out, but this fellow named ElBaradei appears to be in line to take over when Mubarek is inevitably ousted. This may look like a positive change on the surface, but many Egyptians question ElBaradei's approval of US policy, and indeed he's been hyped by men like former US National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was instrumental in the forming of the Afghan mujahideen network (out of which sprung the Taliban and al Qaeda). So it's up in the air, the Egyptian people still have the chance to implement real change by electing their own leader, or ElBaradei will be appointed by those who want him to be appointed.
