They totally have 1966 wrong!

Right! It looks like he was a member of Sly and the Family Stone. I don't miss the “big hair” of the 70's.

Ringo's hair is like an afro someone sat on…  Look how flat it is on top!

GniknuS – great to see the USS Chicka Ferdy is patrolling the waters of the Beatles Bible Forum once again!

Somehow, I feel safer knowing it's there.neil-aspinall

Yeah I missed it, and it was getting lonely not being on the forum, just floating around by itself.

And while I'm handing out “profile” accolades, I get a kick out of skye's signature. It reminds me of a hockey cheer I know. Where I grew up there is an engineering school, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institiute (RPI). During the hockey games, you can hear the band belting out (and remember, these are engineering students)…

Cosine, secant, tangent, sine

Square root, cube root, log of pi,
Disintegrate them RPI!

Even if you are not a math lover, that's funny.

Going to see a Beatles tribute band called Rain tonight, it sounds like it'll be pretty good. They have two different bands that play, and they had better play Rain since it's their name because I want to see how they'll do it live.

I'm seeing them a week from Saturday. I'd love to hear how they are ahead of time.

I have to ask… what's the base of the “log of ??”

I've seen them twice they're pretty good. Unfortunately both times they did not play Rain live, but they play a recording of it after the show.

ps: Log is base 10 unless otherwise stated. a-hard-days-night-ringo-8

My brother has seen them and he agrees with Bj. He said they were fantastic.

I'd like to see them myself – I'll be waiting for your reviews.

Well Rain was fantastic, but no, like Bj said, they did not play Rain live so I was kind of upset about that. My other complaint is that they only gave George two songs, and they weren't even original Harrisongs! He sang Do You Want To Know A Secret (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and I'm Happy Just To Dance With You, but other than that it's like how much can you really complain about songs because I suppose the Beatles have a few good ones. They played Girl so I was happy. a-hard-days-night-john-1

I was also dissapointed in the lack of George songs, they seem to always do Happy to dance With You, except both times they did While My Guitar Gently Weeps too, which was interesting because it was a mix of the Love and the album version.
