It'd read about the Beatles, become interested in their music, take some back to their home planet and then somehow manage to replicate their own version of the band.

What time is the flight leaving for Planet Fab? Save me a seat and order me a beer.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

I installed a karaoke software in my netbook and I plugged to my stereo and TV to have our karaoke show this New Year's Eve party in my house and I downloaded a lot of songs, (including some Beatle ones).
I was ready to sing When I'm 64 … but then the lyrics were…in Spanish. In my niece words : Total epic fail.

Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

I put that into my translator to find out what bit it was, but it came up with:
I do not know so at least if I will be able to sing when sixty and three have. if somebody is laughed when remembering
Um… Fail.

It was 109 in Adelaide so get over it PAULRUS
The problem is that we expect to be cold. not that hot
And yeah, that translation is horrible. Double fail.

“When I'm 63?”
EPIC FAIL!
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Man I haven't even noticed that. The thing is that “tres” goes better with that part of the song than “cuatro”. Anyway, massive epic fail.

Double post but anyway.
The great actor Pete Postlethwaiithe passed away. His work in “In the name of the father” is one of the best performances I've seen. Besides, he was in one of the best movies from 2010 : Inception.
And the girl that make most of my sci-fi fans friends dream when they were kids, Anne Francis from The Forbidden Planet, passed away at age 80.

You know what's awesome? A sweet potato with plain yogurt on it.
Three guesses as to what I'm having for dinner…

Damn, that's too bad. He'll always be “Kobayashi” to me. (“The Usual Suspects”)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

To be honest? I mean, I'm excited but like “Wow!!” not yet because it's a long way to go. Of course when my friend told me he got my tickets and when I got them today I was drooling. But that's all.
I love love love love love love love love U2, but their last album was a total turn off for me. But ask me in early May and I'll be like “Woot!! 3 days to the concert!!”
But with Paul forget it, I was in the toppermost of the poppermost from the moment I got the tickets to the moment the concert started. I was like “OMG I'm going to watch a Beatle LIVE!!”
Edit : I think I'm not that excited because I have a semester of classes ahead of me. It's hard work, I have to prepare classes, and I need to deal with the stress that now is quite high because of the social situation in my country. I don't complain at all, I love my work. It's just that I feel that I need to work hard to enjoy the prize at the end of the semester that will be the concert.
