When you say disappeared, do you know where he is?
If you do then the only thing I can say is that you somehow try and grab him, without scaring him. I don´t know how much point there is in trying to persuade him in because if he doesn´t trust you then he won´t but you could give it a go. Otherwise I suppose you´ll just have to wait, if it gets cold then he might want to come inside.
Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.

Thanks everyone for their advice. We put out some fish but since he ate before he ran out (clever cat) wont be hungry for a while.
He did come back but quickly scarpered again (we live in the middle of nowhere so he’s hard to find). I think he will be out all night which is not good as its cold but its a cat so will be able to keep warm. We have a shed so the plan is stick food in there and then lock the door when he goes for the food. I’ll go out in the morning and sit for a bit, he might come up and say hello.
Again thanks for the advice.

For those in the UK and havent heard it yet i’d recommend listening to The Bloggers Guide To The Beatles. Its a reverential look at the beatles legacy but with funny jokes (one involving Pepper and Revolver and which many fans would agree with) and lame impressions. Its available to listen to until Thursday.

During my Biology class today, I was overcome with a strong desire to write. Consequently, this happened lol.
If I Could Write Like Dylan
If I could write like Dylan,
Would people finally hear
What I’ve always tried to say
Through years of tempered tears?
If I could think like Dylan–
Think the way I write–
Would people scoff and sneer
Or find my thoughts are right?
If I could speak like Dylan,
What is it I’d say?
Would people stop to listen
Or turn their ears away?
But if I could write like Courtney–
Speak and think and write–
People may soon find
That she’s really quite alright.
I enjoyed reading that. Will you put music to it?

Apologies for the double post, but I have to know…what happened to the cat?

Oh, sorry. Forgot all about it with life going on and Beatles on tv (Love Me Do was on last night).
The cat is back and being a pain. Was found walking around the bottom of the garden on Saturday night. He was put out today for the first time properly and came back easily enough so hopefully a pattern will emerge for the winter (he was gotten for mice catching as i live in the middle of nowhere).
Thanks for asking Zig – hope no one was having a sleepness night over it.

Lol! Thanks so much, Zig. It’s the most evolutionized Cheerio I have ever seen.

The Rolling Stones are going back on the stage for gigs in London and New York. I thought their last tour was the final final never going to tour ever again ever ever ever tour or did i just give up caring?
And if you do nothing about something really wrong and illegal along with every one else, just point fingers, jump up and down, and scream “It was them, them over there. They are to blame. How disgraceful that they did nothing! Theyre bad bad people. Get them. Boooooo!!” and hope no one thinks to look at you.

Stones: Even though I’m Canadian, I feel perfectly entitled to say this: Why the hell would you play New Jersey? Even people from New Jersey hate New Jersey!!!
And I’m going to ask what the last part of that post was about.

I doubt they said, “Hey, let’s play in NJ.” The Pru Center probably just happened to be the only venue in the NYC Metro area that was available. The capacity is not as much as MSG, but still seats about 19,000 or so for concerts.

I’m pretty sure they could have gotten MSG if they wanted to.
Also – going to see Bruce Springsteen TONIGHT!!!!!
Only if they wanted to share the floor with the New York Knicks on those nights. I can hear the call now…
“Carmello Anthony dribbles up court, past Jagger, around Richards, over to Stoudamire for the jam!”
Have fun with The Boss tonight.

Hm, a friend of mine saw Springsteen at the Skydome back in August for the first time and was a bit underwhelmed. Said there was too much recent material, of which he isn’t fond. (Me, I get off the Springsteen bus after “Born In The USA” and don’t think he ever topped his ’70s albums.)
Hope you have a good time all the same!
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Thanks!! His latest one is really good, and I know a few songs off the Rising, but his best string was definitely in the 70’s (Although, if I had a gun to my head, I’d say the first disc of the River was his best single album.) Really pumped now

I haven’t heard “The River” in forever (foriver?), so I can’t recall exactly what’s on what disc.
Pretty sure my friend’s favourite is “Nebraska”, but it could also be “Tunnel of Love” which he calls underrated. I think I like “The Wild, The Innocent…” best of all myself.

Looking at the UK album charts for the 1960’s and it gets insane.
The Beatles and The Rolling Stones between them held the number 1 spot for 23 months fom May 5th 1963 to 11 April 1965.
The Beatles had a run of 51 weeks at number 1, 1 week shy of a full year.
The Beatles had the number 1 album, non-consecutive, for 80 weeks in total (AHDN and WTB were 21 weeks each, PPM for 30 and BFS 8 weeks).
For 3 1/2 years (May 5th 1963 to 17th December 1967) only 5 artists got the number 1 album; The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Monkees, and The Sound of Music Soundtrack (recorded by various artists admittedly). Not a bad selection of artists.
1960’s Beatles Albums Weeks at Number 1 – ( + ) indicates non-consecutive
Please Please Me – 30
With The Beatles – 21
A Hard Day’s Night – 21
Beatles For Sale – 8 (7 + 1)
Help ! – 9
Rubber Soul – 8
Revolver – 7
Sgt. Pepper – 27 (23 + 1 + 2 + 1)
The Beatles (aka The White Album ) – 8 (7 + 1)
Abbey Road – 17 (11 + 6)
For completion despite it being a May 1970 release
Let It Be – 3 (weeks at number 1)
The only UK beatles album not to reach number 1 in the 1960’s was A Collection of Beatles’ Oldies… But Goldies, a December 1966 compilation that peaked at #6.
Its a slow night.

I’ll be giving an informative speech in my Communications class tomorrow night in which I shall discuss sexism in the church, and–considering I attend a Church of Christ school (which doesn’t believe in or support a woman’s right to preach)–I’ll be needing some luck. I’m afraid I may be making a faux pas on this one… But I also feel action needs to be taken. Any thoughts?
*It should be noted that I’m asking for thoughts on my situation, not beliefs.*
