I find it quite calming actually. I like yellow.
Good news, everybody, my application to go on a choir trip to Argentina and Chile went through!
Only 100 can go, and there are WAY more than that in my chorale. I was afraid I wouldn't get in since I'm a soprano and there are tons of us.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Cool Seaglass. Getting to go abroad with friends and see other countries is such an amazing experience.
congrats, seaglass. 🙂 I hope you'll enjoy the trip, anyway, I don't see any other option, really.
buuut, there's terribly hot afterall. (isn't it?) mm.. it depends where you're exactly going – but I'm sure it'll be all fine. 🙂 actually, I was about to ask you all, how's your weather.? I have -16 right now. :/ it's 4 p.m and I don't want to think what's going to happen in the night. haha – only 2 weeks to go and the weather will be NORMAL again.
hehe. I'm so into this song now. nothing's better for a lazy friday evening: The Beatles- I'm So Tired (Sung by Paul McCartney )

Right now it is 25°F and sunny in the great state of Maine, USA.
God , that's mild. Be happy while it lasts, Zig. 19 degrees F (-7C) in Canada's capital. The very city the New York Islanders will lose tonight.

Thanks everybody
But, coolstory, it'll be winter there when I go down to South America. Which is nice because Washington summers are dreadful, awful humidity and mosquitos and 110 degree weather and burning sun.
speaking of weather, I'm a little bit worried. We have had absolutely no snow this winter and the last several days it's been 60 degrees. Usually we get a big snow and several small ones in a year. It's lovely out, but just wrong for February. This scares me because of global warming.

Ow, the light burns my eyes.
Hey all. Sorry I've been dormant for a while — curse you, real life, for interfering with my posting time! I realized how long it's been in Chinese class when we read a story about Stephanie and her boyfriend Von. (If you don't get it…. )
Anywhoo, I'm probably going to be sporadic in posts until after Choir Festival at the end of March. (And after Festival, I'm going to California for tour! Woot!)
Sorry I missed Sun king's birthday — IIRC it's the same day as Polythene Dan's (January 20).
Anyway, just wanted to let you know I'm still alive.

It's okay. And yes, it's the 20th. You know, I don't think anyone can put a smile on my face just by one post like you can. Welcome back.

Listened to an Help ! promo interview where Paul jokes about writing songs and shoving them in anywhere including the film ending with a love scene between George and Ringo! Thankfully as they run towards each other, ala in all those corny romantic scenes you see in films, they miss each other and fall onto the sand.

Can you imagine how a Ringo George love scene would have went down, especially in some parts of the USA? Just Pauls mention of it in the interview would have gotten them painting banners, burning records and planning 'major disturbances' when the Beatles toured that autumn.
Anyway.
Enjoy your holiday mith. You have earned it with all the reading, writing and screaming in frustration you'll have been doing.

(I'll bet there's somewhere a topic completly weded to this, so please, give me a link to it – I'd be grateful).
ano, have you watched 'backbeat'.? (http://www.filmweb.pl/film/Bac…..1994-32881) I'm about to watch it this evening. I hvae to tell you, I'm really keen on the beatles hamburg period. The music they were doing at that time was pure rock and roll – I can spend hours watching pics and listetning to those recordings. It's got its own 'charm'. As I get deeper in this and see how much they had to sacrificed how much get through and grew up I have more respect and adoration to them. puure rock and roll. a couple weeks ago I've noticed this site: http://thehamburgbeatles.blogspot.com/ check it out 🙂 what do you think about early beatles work.?

Thanks mith! Hahaha, rehearsals have been the Devil. But last Friday at midnight was the opening night for Rocky Horror and it went AWESOME! I’d show you guys some photos of me (you should have seen me in my Usherette and Space Bride of Frankenstein costumes) and the show but 1. I want to protect my identity and the identities of my castmates. And 2. I’m on my tablet so I can’t upload photos from my camera. And after last night’s performance, a couple in their mid-fifties told me that they had been going to multiple performances of The Rocky Horror Show around the country for nearly 35 years, and my performance as Magenta was one of the best that they had ever seen :D. It really made me smile. And next Saturday is the opening night for Tommy, so I’m really excited!

I missed you. Glad Rocky Horror went well, and good luck with Tommy.
