And what about all the books that exist in the world? Surely they all havent gone thru Apple and asked to use the word Beatles, plus if you go into shops there is tons of crap which have the word Beatles slapped on it! If Apple have trademarked it shouldnt they ensure there is some decency and quality in whats out there.

Trademarks – I’m not a lawyer but there’s a distinction between slapping the word “Beatles” on a t-shirt and writing a book about a subject and using the word in the title. It’s to do with fair use. Here’s the situation in the US (look for the paragraph on nominative use): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F…..ark_law%29
For example, the Fest for Beatles Fans was forced to change its name from Beatlefest after Apple Corps claimed it sounded like an official event. Obviously it’s a grey area, and I’m skating on thinnish ice myself, hence the disclaimer at the bottom of every page (NB the drop T logo is also trademarked).

Oh, and Zig, here’s a music trivia question for you. I have aquired a two disc compilation of a Canadian artist (and his many bands) that you also own. Care to guess what I have?

Edit: Sorry for the look. I posted it prior to Zig’s post, but wanted to add something so I copied the contents, deleted my first post, pasted it in a new comment and then added what I said to Mith. And Zig, yes you are correct.

I have the same album – and I prefer the order of our posts to be attributed to the fact that I am clairvoyant.
And before you ask…purple.

Oh man, Decade is so fantastic! If you only have room for one release with the name “Neil Young” on it, that should be the one. It's the one that made me a fan, 25 years ago. ('Course, it was a 3-record set back then, young folks)

My very good inear phones have given up all signs of life and the make no longer exists. Trying to find a good pair at a sensible cost that let the music breathe is very difficult.
Was in a supermarket yesterday (they make so much money that no name is being mentioned here) and they had a very strange pricing strategy;
8 cans of cola £3.99
12 cans of cola £4.00
24 cans of cola £8.85 (advertised as the super value pack)
and all the same brand same flavour same type.
I’ll never work that one out.
And did anyone see the Australian Mens Tennis Final earlier? Flipping heck! Some of the rallys were breath-taking and the shots being made and returned were incredible at times. How both Nadal and Djokovic managed to keep going for 5 hours and 33 minutes is a mystery, especially after Djokovic had battled for just under 5 hours with Andy Murray a couple of days before in one of the semi-finals.
Breathtaking!!!

I'm late on this, but for the rest of the exams, it's really important to get a good night's sleep. Just know that you did whatever you could to do well, and you'll be fine. And drink water.
Actually, funny story… I didn't know I had to take a certain set of tests to make it into McGill University until the night before the tests. I studied for an hour for each, had a good sleep, and I honestly think I did pretty well (this was on Saturday). Being confident counts for a lot! Good luck!!
