Ok I'm BORED!
Zig, so your money is on which team? Texas or St. Louis?
I really don't have a favorite here, mith. I told Sun king upthread, that I am just hoping for a great World Series. Up until last night, the games had been well played. Last night's game was very exciting, but unfortunately played quite sloppily. Tonight is the final game, so I'm really hoping for a good one. I know your Dad is a bit of a baseball fan – who is he cheering for?

Oh, goodness guys. I have a mild case of scoliosis. My spine is curving at 10 degrees. still not that bad, but I'll have to undergo treatment for the next three months…
Best of luck, ten. Our thoughts will be with you.

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. I have scoliosis too, and it’s not fun. I hate to sound all I-have-suffered-so-much-more-than-you, but you’re very lucky. The treatment should be pretty easy, your curve is relatively small. I got diagnosed when I was seven, curvature of 22. It eventually went up to about 30, which isn’t bad enough for surgery, but I had to wear a back brace for a bit more than a year and do a lot of physical therapy, plus get X-rays every six months for the last few years. I got the brace off this summer, and my curve’s now about 8 degrees. Even what I had still qualifies as “moderate curvature” though, it could be much, much worse for either of us. What type of treatment are you doing? Bracing like me, or something else? I hope it helps that you now know someone who had to go through the same thing. It’s really annoying, but in the end you’re better off. Keep your chin up! (I feel like such a weird old British lady saying that)

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Oh my good luck on that! Please let us know how the treatment is coming along.
Zig: Re World Series, my Dad doesn't have a favorite, because as you say, the games have been a bit sloppy. He just had a lot of fun last night shaking his head saying “You're all a bunch of losers” LOL!!
Ok an update about George and Paul. My puppies I mean. I noticed something, George doesn't like Halloween costumes, and Paul doesn't mind at all.

God , George looks really miffed. What is that he’s wearing, a jester’s ruff? Paul is a cute little devil. Btw, your house (I’m assuming that’s your house in the background) is REALLY messy, it looks like my room. I need to clean up in there.
Complete random aside: I’m at the place I take piano lessons, and the WiFi connections are named “Chopin” and “Mozart.” How awesome is that?

It’s my sister’s house. She doesn’t have doors in her closet that’s why it looks cluttered.
Well at least she has an excuse. I have a closet and my room STILL looks like that.

I know LOL!!
BTW I just saw an ad for Olympics game from a national TV network, and there was this swimmer in slow motion opening arms at the end of a race, British flag with the word “Imagina” (Imagine ) with a cue from the song, (it's not the song but you recognize it) and then the slow motion stops and you hear the initial notes of “Come Together “.
It looks great!!

I shuddered reading your post mith. I dread how the beatles and solo beatles are going to be 'celebrated' and 'utilised' during the 2012 Olympics.
Home created hot Honey and Lemon drink (ie not from a sachet) is helpful for coughs ive discovered. Tho why is it that its at late at night when your lungs decide to revolt against your body (or wherever it is that coughs come from)?
