Complete non sequitur here: yesterday I got an ear cuff, or a pierceless earring, a lot like the one in the picture except with a big spiral charm dangling off of it, and today at school EVERYONE has been asking me if I got a piercing. Yes, guys, the girl who gets grossed out by the mere mention of holes in an ear got a absolutely massive through-the-side piercing. They should have known I like offbeat jewellery. I'm the only girl in the school with a toe ring.
Sorry, bit random I know, I just felt like venting/bragging about my bling.

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

Awesome bling!!
It's really strange for me watching a girl with no pierced ears. In Mexico it's very normal to get for a newborn girl special earrings called “dormilonas” and have the doctor pierce her ears. But you have to go with a good nurse, when my nieces had their ears pierced they didn't even cry.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

Well, in the USA it's not usually normal to get ears pierced as babies (if you're a white girl like me that is) and the thought of piercing now really freaks me out. Not on other people, I'm fine with that, but on me it seems almost like bodily mutilation. Thanks for complimenting my “bling” though, guys.

If anyone can crack the following code for this band, I’ll reveal my latest parody. Here’s the code:
Funhouse arson, Mon, 3 albums. Album titles: Wake, flashy book, between country and city.
Who can crack it?

Nice one! Actually, I’m rewriting an Arcade Fire song, My Body Is A Cage, into a expression of sadness experienced by millions on December 8th. (BTW, check the original. Beautiful melody.) Here goes:
Why did he die
So young, taken by a crazy person
Who is such an ass
Why did he die
So young, taken by a crazy person
Who is such an ass?
I’m living in a state
An state of disbelief,
That he could be gone
So easily.
How could he be done
So quickly, taken by a gun
The gun of a crazy man
A man who is crazed
A a*****e in name
(Strings start)
Why is he gone,
A man so fun?
Who would take him so young?
(I think we agree Chapman is an ass. Anyone actually disagree?)
As if it matters how a man falls down.'

Never. Just branching my interests (and shutting up my brother. Double win.)
My class is having a pizza party Friday, and I’m thinking of sneaking in one Beatles song that no one will know is the Beatles. Ideas?

Yes, mith, but imagine going to a pizza party and there's some poor bugger moaning “wanna die, oooh, wanna die” over and over again. Not the right atmosphere I think.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I’m thinking Michelle . Sound good, or what?
Oh, and Zig, when did the MLB make it 2-3-2 home series? I think it’s ridiculous. Hockey’s 2-2-1-1-1 is much superior. What do you think?

I agree the NHL has it right.
Also, I agree with mith on “Yer Blues ” for your pizza party.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

I still think Yer Blues would be a bit too “I invite you to my suicide. There will be pizza afterwards.”
It's the wrong song to try to sneak people into liking the Beatles with. Too heavy.
