The music files i backed up 3 weeks ago and loaded onto another computer for safe keeping have disappeared without trace leaving about 3/4 of what there was. How do i know they definately were? Because the shells of the songs are in itunes, only when i click on them it says they need to be located, so they had to be on the computer to be imported into itunes.
I am thoroughly hacked off.

On Saturday night, me & the Missus went to check out The Fab Faux and they were awesome. Here are some of the highlights.
– opened with “Back In The USSR ” / “Dear Prudence ”
– played some of the tougher ones flawlessly including “Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite”, “Strawberry Fields Forever ”, “I Am The Walrus ” and a biggie to be named below.
– played “Some Other Guy”. This is one of my favorite songs by them that does not appear on the original 13 albums or the singles.
– started “My Guitar Gently Weeps” with the closing notes of “…Bungalow Bill”, just like on the album. Then at the end where the song starts to fade out, they seamlessly switched to the acoustic version found on Anthology and sang the “aging” verse as it appeared on that album. That blew me away. But not as much the next one.
– to my delight, they went into the Abbey Road side 2 medley starting with “Because ”. On the album, at the end of “Polythene Pam ”, this is where you hear the vocal “…oh look out” and then “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window ” starts. The Faux had other ideas. The vocal “Oh, look out” was followed (again, seamlessly) by “Tomorrow Never Knows ”. Tomorrow…Never…Freaking…Knows. And before anyone asks, he used a megaphone. All night I was singing and whooping and yee-ha’ing. At that point, I was speechless. I turned to my wife and tried to profess my excitement. Instead, I pointed at the stage, uttered something completely incoherent, and just started singing again. It was tres cool.
Overall, the show lasted about three and a half hours with a 30 minute break. There were times when I just closed my eyes and listened. During those times it was as if someone was playing the song on a CD. They were that good. My hands are still sore from clapping so hard and my voice is still raspy from all of the aforementioned singing and whooping and yee-ha’ing. If you get a chance to see them, do. If they ever come back my way, I’m there.

Sounds like a ringing endorsement. Very glad you and Zag had such a great time. As for me, I am in bed in excruciating pain. My stomach hurts like a bitch. But, at least my Packers won yesterday. Oh, and on Saturday, I saw the funniest play ever. If you want more I’ll diverge it when I’m in less pain.

Mith, I know what you mean.. but it seems to me sometimes that heartbreak is something that will always be there, sadly, in all its forms.
I'm very sad these days, and the last line in your line just about sums up what I feel.. How many deaths will it take til a man knows that too many people have died?
Death is all around us in my part of the world these days and it's very disheartening.
Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on!

I don't know what happened mith, but but I have 2 shoulders – no waiting.
I will defend my gender by saying we aren't all b******s. But as far as your last statement goes, I prefer animals over people too! Hang in there my friend.

Thank you guys.
But I *do* feel better now. I’m working on a project now : My t-shirt for Ringo’s concert. Who cares about a stupid guy when you can see a Beatle in concert???
Edit : Flying cupcake : I know your pain. I don’t want to ignore things but sometimes it’s better if you don’t get carried away by all the bad news.

Thanks SunKing. The good about having your heart broken a lot is you recover very quickly. I'm listening to Brainwashed a lot and I feel way better now.
BTW The weather in your city is still hot? Because in here it seems we're still in Summer and not in Fall.

Aw, Mith, I think it's all about an ego thing really, that's why guys who are attached will still present themselves as available to other women.
I've been having a rough go of it as well, so I know how you feel.

Thanks for your words.
Remember that line about the more I know about men, the more I love puppies? My sister has been talking about giving me one for weeks. Well, she got home with this..
Isn't he the cuttest thing ever??? My sister said she had to ok the name, so we were trying different ones. Lennon was vetoed by my sister, she didn't like either Macca nor Paul, I tried Ringo and George but he seems to like George, so that's his name. George Harrison

Sounds fitting. Mith, he/she's a beauty. I just want to hug him.
