I got it for about €23, it’s very helpful.
I’ve watched videos on them and they look scary and not good for your skin
but also very satisfying

As a girl on the mission to watching all of Tom Hanks’ films (I’m on a slow but steady pace), The Terminal shouldn’t be last (of all of his I’ve watched ‘Every Time We Say Goodbye’ should be- s***e film, he’s the only good thing in it), You’ve Got Mail and That Thing You Do should be higher.
I agree with you on The Terminal ranking ASJ. I would put The Money Pit, Dragnet, Turner & Hooch, and Joe Versus the Volcano lower.

I wish I had known about it earlier–maybe I could have saved some of my favorites from depressingly early losses. Oh well. I’m just looking forward to swr releasing the custom brackets.

I was watching an AP English prep/review video and the teacher’s name was ‘Dawn Knight’ and all I can’t stop thinking about how ‘Dawn Knight’ is such a cool-ass name.
Heck yeah!!! I’ve only watched one Lang video so far (I’ve been focusing on APUSH and APES this week) but sadly the topic of argumentative essays is not nearly as cool as her name is. (I’m miffed that we don’t get to write an argumentative essay this year, by the way; I was looking forward to a prompt similar to the 2017 prompt or the 2019 prompt.)
I find that Crash Course videos are generally more engaging than the AP videos, so in an effort to make them more interesting I’ve been watching them on 1.25 speed (1.5 for the especially slow talkers) to match the iamgoingtotellyoueverythingiknowallinonebreath style of John Green. I can’t tell if it’s working, but itt does mean I get to spend less time watching the videos.

Lmao I did the same thing– like for our APUSH summer work we had to watch and take notes on all the U.S. History Crash Course videos and to get them done faster I just sped them up. I’m also rewatching the CC vids, too, though I do still listen to some of the APUSH Collegeboard vids or just skip through them to do all the DBQ document analyzation practice and such.

I’ll be honest, I was completely oblivious that the bracket was happening Jules tagged me suggesting that I share my thoughts, and then I couldn’t find the thread so I didn’t, until I suddenly noticed it a couple days later.

he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Also nobody thanked me, and then they all thanked AppleScruffJunior for inviting Beatlebug. Why so much indifference? My guess at first was that you didn’t like brackets, or maybe you’ve had a traumatic experience with brackets like your gf cheating on you with a bracket, or a bracket killing your parents or something but people were too awkward to clarify. Or maybe you’ve had done a bracket already last year but the last time you did you got so pissed you started cursing and throwing the N word at people and stuff, so nobody wanted to bring your dark side again but everybody was too scared to bring it up. Those were some of my guesses.

Oh I do love me a good bracket, I simply was at first oblivious, then unable to find it. Didn’t show up in the new topics bar at least.

You sped up a crash course video??? I am impressed. I guess it would be ok on 1.5 speed but the pace is so fast already… Also that’s funny that you’ve been skipping the content to get to the practice, I’ve been watching the content only and skipping the practices (maybe I shouldn’t do that, huh?)

I have quite a few little chonkin’ cartpenter bee friends who bumble around my deck (probably looking for nesting sites). They’ve been very cold and sleepy lately, bless their furzzy little hearts. This little guy was stuck inside the screen porch this morning and so I got a net and let him out into the grass. He seemed to be having trouble flying, so I put him on a nice high flower stalk, where he hung out cleaning his furze off. I got to pet him

Mr. Damon, I think. Better too formal than too intimate when uncertain (which, I think, may be why English lost the informal “you,” or maybe because all the “thee”s and “thou”s were too complicated to conjugate).
Also Mongolian folk-rock is amaaaazzzzzziiiiiiiiiinnnnngggg
