So many people have been in Doctor Who that whenever I go to any professional theatre production wherever in the UK, if there is no one in the cast who was ever in Doctor Who, I get very disappointed.

I’ve seen multiple one-episode Capaldi characters. They’re everywhere!

Did the comments somehow magically get reversed or are you in the wrong thread @Beatlebug ?

And Rita I’ll happily be an American teenager for you *wears backwards baseball hat, letter jacket and carries an American football*.

Looks convincing, right?

It’s rather nice to stress about things that have absolutely nothing to do with me and that I am confident will be sorted out in the end. And it is a good show, I just HATE Ross so much and what they did to Francis was AWFUL… I like Demelza though

You have to see him in motion to fully appreciate him, though. Do watch the movie, it’s lovely. In addition to the dapper “Freddy” (who appears far too little onscreen for my taste a-hard-days-night-george-10), Audrey Hepburn is also adorable as always (though, since I’ve been off and on nursing a mild crush on Julie Andrews since I was about eleven, I do somewhat regret that they didn’t let her take the role from stage to film).

Jeremy Brett is primarily remembered for engendering Sherlock Holmes from the page into the flesh through his own self. I assure you he was still fairly delicious twenty years later (also period costumes yummy) but most of all his portrayal of the great detective is MAGNIFICENT. He lived, breathed, and slept Holmes (much to the detriment of his mental health, alas, a-hard-days-night-paul-10 but fabulous for the rest of us ahdn_john_08_gif).

You call someone “a snacc” when you think they’re really attractive.

I will never forgive My Fair Lady for dubbing over Audrey’s vocals after she had worked so hard in vocal lessons and was told that her singing would be in the final cut.

Audrey’s voice is very charming in general with her unusual Dutch-Belgian combination accent and her singing is fine, while she struggled with high notes, they could have done a mixture of her and Marni.

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.
