You’re so welcome! I’ve just started listening to your playlist (well, actually, I made an analogous YouTube playlist because I have premium YT but not Spotify but yeah) and I put that at the end, so I’ll get round to it eventually…
Mary Lou Williams has a whole Zodiac Suite which I listened to purely for astrology nerd reasons, it’s quite cool.

@lovelyritametermaid I just remembered that Mary Lou Williams was herself a Taurus (8 May).

Yes, Ron, you and Let It Be both (and the day after my dad), as I well know. Always fun to argue with a Taurus, it goes something like this:
Nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all
Could change my mind

Could change my mind, change my mind

Long hair can be very annoying and unruly and if people aren’t equipped with the proper tools to wrangle it it can be very annoying…

@Ahhh Girl , love Saint Chapelle. One of the most beautiful manmade things I’ve ever seen. It touched my heart and soul in a way that usually only nature can. When we made up our way up that weird staircase it was a little crowded in the chapel, so we went out on the balcony. A couple came up behind us and said someone had a panic attack halfway up and couldn’t continue (which blocked the entrance for a while). After 5 minutes or so it was quiet enough to get lots of pictures without our fellow tourists smiling faces. At that time we had only planned to be in Paris for one week, so we did a lot that day (Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, Opera House, Sacre-Coeur Basilica). We ended up staying 3 weeks (thanks to our generous Airbnb host), so we got to go back and spend a more leisurely time about Paris.

@sigh butterfly, Saint Chapelle is the most beautiful indoor place, and Wrigley Field is the most beautiful outdoor place.

+1 for Saint Chapelle, there was no one in it when I went so I had a great time. Notre Dame had rudely decided to go on fire about 2 weeks before I went to Paris but I was talking to the gendarmerie outside it (because any opportunity to practice the French I take it!) so that was nice.
My Paris advice:
Go to Versailles but don’t go to the palace in the morning, you WILL be in a queue which will at the very shortest be an hour long. Instead go to Marie Antoinette’s Hamlet which is about a half an hour walk away from the palace. It’s absolutely lovely, a quaint little farmers’ town she had built so she could feel like one of the plebs and there are loads of farmyard animals (I befriended a goat). You can also see all the little houses and things and just have a walk around. Bring food and have a picnic etc. None of the tour buses go here and a lot of people who do go to Versailles don’t know this place exists so happy days for you.
Then in the afternoon about 2-4pm go to Versaillles, you’ll walk in and all the horrible, horrible German, American and Chinese tour buses have f**ked off so you have the place to yourself. You’ll actually get to appreciate the place without people wedged all around you (probably the most horrible experience I’ve ever had).
And then because you’ve walked a lot, get the train home, have dinner and fall into bed preferably while watching a terribly-dubbed French film (Moonraker was on when I was there).
Unethical pro tip: There are French-language tours of the Catacombs, if you don’t speak French, pay for it anyways because you can skip the queue which gets very, very long. You won’t be able to understand anything but you get in there all the quicker and they bring you down routes that are not open to the general public and they’re the same price as an ordinary ticket (I think I paid about €8 for mine).

Yes, you must, @sigh butterfly.
@AppleScruffJunior, the tour of the Voestalpine steel mill in Linz, Austria, (see the first paragraph) is only in German. We went on it anyway. Of course we could tell on the plant tour when the metal was being heated, melted, shaped, etc. Ohhh Boy knows some German from listening to his mom and aunt all these years. He told us some of what the tour guide was saying. The only words we understood that she said were “fitness center.” LOL. Loved the tour though!!!
Here’s what I bought at the gift shop. It is a bottle opener…made of steel of course.
