Offline I take a break from the forum…..for one weekend…..
and I come back….only to be greeted by three pages of absolute horror and confusion
((But is quite hilarious. I had to bite my tongue to keep from breaking out in a fit of horrified laughter in AP English))
All those terrible wax figures makes me want to annihilate the art form.

Offline I don’t know whether these have been mentioned on the forum before (it probably has considering how up to date everything is here, and these came out about a year ago), but I just found out that Yoko and the rest of the people who control the rights to John’s work made a line of to scale John Lennon figures with endoskeletons. I’m not quite sure what to think, they’re just slightly scarily realistic in my opinion…

Offline Hmm, I think those were mentioned. It’s miles better than all those delightfully* inaccurate wax figures we’ve been enjoying* in this thread lately, but still weird.
Also, what’s up with that boatneck sweater deal? I feel like it’s a rare man who can pull that style off well (e.g. David Bowie, probably), and I don’t think Creepy Doll Lennon quite has it (though I’m not sure creepy dolls have much of anything going for them).

Offline Ah lads exam results out today (the ones I was giving you daily updates on circa Christmas time), five of the six exams have come out- A’s in them all, lads I think my atheism has turned around because there is a God up there!
Managed to get 88% in database thanks to some divine miracle (Amen), so all I need is a 50% in economics and I’ve got my 1st in semester one. The idea of me getting a scholarship for a masters is still obtainable- woohoo!!!!

Yeah, 99.9% sure I posted that in News thread when it was announced, not that I can find the post.
Comes with two different magnetic bases – sandals and boots, 6 different hand sets, two different heads, and three different outfits:
John wore the boatneck sweater regularly in ’70/’71, which is why it’s one of the outfits.

Hm, I guess it just looked odd to me because of the Creepy Doll format… gave the garment a Barbiesque vibe, which is weird, and also did I mention it’s a Creepy Doll?
