Oof, it happens. Like today I fell down into a Harrison image hole when looking for refs…I have now downloaded 15 new pics of George to my iPhone (in addition to the buttload of pics and memes I already have of my thiccc-eyebrowed boy.) Sometimes I even just find an image and s t a r e.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to decide on a song to perform for my school’s winter talent show (where I’ll hopefully be singing and playing piano), and I still can’t decide on what song to perform. I’ve asked my friends and family for input, but they have yet to get back to me and I really need to start practicing as soon as possible. Here are the songs that I’ve been thinking about:
1. Across The Universe (The Beatles)
2. Behind That Locked Door (George Harrison )
3. Vienna (Billy Joel)
4. In My Life (The Beatles)
5. All Things Must Pass (George Harrison )
6. The Circle Game (Joni Mitchell)
Vienna is probably the most difficult out of the options as the piano part is slightly tricky, but I could learn it. The easiest song is probably The Circle Game, as the vocal and piano are fairly easy. I’m kind of leaning towards either Across The Universe or Behind That Locked Door .
Well everyone, I’ve officially decided on Across The Universe for my show. Thanks for helping me decide! I might upload a cover of the song to the Beatles Bible, but we’ll see.

I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Congratulations on reaching the 5-digit club, sir, a remarkable achievement!
When one considers how extensive and thorough your typical post is…it’s probable that you’ve contributed more words to this fab forum than anyone else. All of them well worth reading.

Some of you fellow ancients will remember shortly after I joined here, I stumbled upon a wax George head on eBay. Last year or so @Ron Nasty asked me if if I had a photo of that head because it truly is very disturbing and my original comment had got lost in the swamp of the forum. Well I tried desperately and no traces could be found on my mam’s ancient laptop.
Until today.
You see, it’s being resold. A lad called Colin Hill paid £200 for it (£199.50 too much for it although it’d make a great Halloween decoration) and so we have finally got some photos of the head (although these are shot in better lighting than the original which looked like a man who vaguely looked like George ‘s head had been chopped off and left in some prison-type room).
Ta-da, George head (George’s head is the one on the right btw) !
What have they done to you George?!?

^He does seem to get that ‘massacre his looks’ treatment. Poor George deserves better.

Afraid not, @AppleScruffJunior, not the same head; nowhere near as frightening. The last one wasn’t a Madame Tussauds head.

I could have sworn it was a Madame Tussaud’s head and that’s why it was commanding such a high price on eBay when I saw it.
Yer man has definitely cleaned it up since but the only thing different about it that I can remember is I could have sworn his teeth were way bigger.
If it isn’t the same head- how many creepy copies of George’s head are floating around?!?

A bad sunburn, for starters.
I’ll do a search later when I get to a computer and see if I can find it (doing my best to follow the masterful ways of the great @Ahhh Girl).
