Offline If we’re going to combine the 2 vonbontee accounts, then i think it’s only fair to include sir walter raleigh as well, since the only reason he isn’t on that list is because he had to change his account for privacy reasons.
According to post #18084, he was somewhere in the 900’s when the change happened, meaning that he has at least 5409 posts to his name.

Offline My progress is glacial as befits a penguin fancier. 
Actually I find I don’t have a lot to say and one friend demanded I post updates about my cat if I’m not going to write about myself. So, my cat is ok although she’s having bad breath lately and I’m either going to have to clean her teeth (which as you might expect is challenging for both of us), or get some worming tablets, or have her checked out by the vet. I’m going to opt for option 2 to begin with and option 3 after that in order of seriousness. She’s not showing any other outward signs of disease or illness, she’s quite happy and loves her food. I am wondering if it might be the diet itself – it’s difficult to feed cats on low or zero carbohydrate food and my current compromise may not be working.

I, for one, would have a problem with that. Those are not dormant accounts but banned accounts; instructed closed by the management because they were fake and deceptive. They were problem accounts that could easily have seen DO banned, which would have been a great shame had it led to that as he has gone to show. They should not count toward an achievement though.

Fair point. I just figured that since the posts DO made on those accounts were made by him and they did contribute to the forum in a constructive way for the most part, it would count. Obviously the accounts themselves shouldn’t be celebrated though.

Don’t worry, any post from you is a great one but I think we’d all rather you used the forum for enjoyment and not because you feel obliged to or anything like that 
I sometimes get burned out from using it too much, so I give it a few days, and then it’s great to be back

None taken. In fact, i’m glad those other 3 accounts didn’t count for the reasons you stated (although i never considered those accounts problem accounts and thought it was my current count that had me almost bite the dust).
When i made those accounts, i was new to talking with other people online and had no idea about proper netiquette so i thought creating a false identity was the best way to ensure my privacy (stupid me didn’t think about just not mentioning my personal life instead). The lack of netiquette also prevented me from realizing how to act online, which got worse once i started spending all day on the forum (hence why i complimented 50yearslate for being able to write meaningful posts at that rate).
They should really teach netiquette in school, it’d be much more useful then a lot of the other things they teach.
