Offline I wonder what makes one qualify as a professional artist. I’d love to hear their criteria.
Also, and this goes without saying, The Beatles were and are universal. This is like saying that non artists aren’t capable of appreciating their work.

While i agree that what they’re doing is wrong, i can’t blame them for doing it. If 2 people were able to completely spray the wall white except for the phrase “Wall is over”, what’s to stop someone from spray painting “Violence is good, peace is bad” or some other degrading comment on the wall that’s 100% contradictory of John’s philosophy.

The wall does look a mess much of the time though:
Which must be annoying when you commission pieces of artwork you expect to last a while but are often unrecognisable in days. And the article does say that a small part of the wall will be reserved for fans messages, etc., so you’ll probably still be able to sign Prague’s Lennon Wall, @Ahhh Girl, if you get to make it back there.
