Mr Sun King – Berlin just works for me. It’s such a lively city with masses going on, full of creative people working hard to do interesting things, and plenty of fascinating history (good and bad – they don’t shy away from it). I’ve rarely felt more at home in a city, and I only speak a little German. I’d like to live there one day.

Offline Mr. S, I guess it doesn't really matter which party you're going into. It would just be amusing. Do you really want to be PM? I'm not entirely sure what party I'd support if I could vote, I suppose it depends on the candidates involved and platforms. As it is, I tend to lean more toward the Conservatives. I'll be able to decide on that starting December. If I get up to somewhere near Montreal to a voting booth… but that's 2 hours and I'm not allowed to bring my car

Joe, oh my goodness he's a cutie. Berlin sounds cool, maybe I should include it on my trip to Europe someday… My friends and I would like to travel around and visit my European friends and I have a couple in Germany.

This is really pathetic, but I can only give the politician answer of maybe. That, lawyer, historian, writer, journalist, etc. You can tell I'm confused.

OMG He’s grown up a lot!! And he’s sooo cute!! You should have a professional pic of him with that sailor outfit.. I had one of my Dad and I dunno.. boys looks so special with sailor outfits.

I love where i live; in the middle of central scotland in the coutryside surrounded by fields with inquisitive cows and sheep, overlooking a small town on one side and a loch on the other. Also have a small woods nearby. Neighbours that dont bother you but are friendly. So peaceful.

I'm assuming you all heard about the riots that happened in England about a week ago. Not only did that put my country to shame, but my generation!

Offline Unfortunately at the moment there is so much fighting going on in so many countries, be it the riots or the fighting in places like Libya.
Did anyone see the picture of a guy at a work night out who let a picture be taken of him that heavily insinuated that he was taking drugs? The picture was automatically uploaded to his companys website and now there is an internal search on to find out who it was and if he really was. How daft can you get. I can see the upemployment figures being added to.
Mithveaen, im a recluse so the busling cities and nightlife have never appealed. I deleted the facebook page i never posted on. I dont get why its neccessary to post that you are eating a lovely blueberry muffin or that you are going for a drink in a pub by yourself like its some big deal. The world is a strange place.

Offline Yeah but it sucks living in a city where you can’t find a decent library.
The good thing is that I can go to the beach whenever I want. if you go on Sunday morning it’s empty and quite enjoyable. I went today and 3 pelicans just flew very close to my head looking for fish. Then I felt something in my feet and there were some fish. I was just standing there watching the fish. Then I was floating on the sea and I saw the moon and the clouds. Amazing.

Offline Okay, I’m back in Montreal. Wait , that’s not right. I’m back from Montreal. I just love how I miss most of the weekend in Ottawa, nothing newsworthy happens, yet I miss a day and a half, and Libyan rebels are in Tripoli, Jack Layton is dead, and a massive earthquake. And the charges against DSK are dropped. Oy vey.

Offline Okay guys, I have work tonight, and then tomorrow morning I'm off to Reading Festival! I'm all packed and ready, and a little bit too excited about living in my own filth for four days. Expect me to come back on Monday with stories of how I met Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and he fell in love with me. Offline Scottish Football is dead. All clubs out of Europe before September. Not 1 game won out of 8. Absolutely awful.
