I’ll Tell you why it sounds so good @Beatlebug
It’s a D7(#9)
The same chord as in Taxman
The only difference is that this voicing has the 5th of the chord included.

That Firebird video made me want to cry and you can tell Gibson’s explanation is bullshit. And these are expensive guitars many can only dream of having with the blue ones costing an average of $2K and the red ones costing an average of $8K, the latter being worth about as much as a late 60’s Fender Stratocaster and in total, they probably destroyed over a million worth in guitars.
I think this shows the biggest flaw of capitalism very well since while there’s loads of people who can barely afford a used Squier Bullet Strat, here’s a huge corporation intentionally destroying hundreds of brand new top of the line guitars just to get rid of them.
To be fair though, there’s a small chance they couldn’t sell them because of some bullshit environmentalist regulation but even if that’s the case, you still could’ve tried to give them to someone.

Thanks! We found an easier voicing of it that won’t involve wrenching my hand into contortions.

Wasting perfectly good guitars is a travesty when there are millions of kids dying to get their hands on one.

Yup, I think that might be the default (?) cap, if I’m not mistaken. I think the highest (?) you can set it to in your profile is 250, which is what I’ve got mine set to.

I had a wild dream last night… something involving the future, and space, and I think @QuarryMan and @WeepingAtlasCedars were there. If I recall, we went to Mars, and we were sitting on Mars looking back at Earth only to see that there were two Earths in view. One of them was the real original Earth, and the other was a backup Earth that humans had created to deal with overpopulation and environmental issues. The backup Earth was called ‘welfare Earth’ because all the lower-class people lived on it*, and the original Earth was mostly historical and natural reservations. When I explained this, WeepyC exclaimed something like ‘Meh, I don’t like “welfare Earth”, I would never live there’ (it wasn’t nearly as pretty as the real Earth, the continents were kind of scattered about). I think a lot of humans also lived on other planets such as Mars, and in spacefaring capsules such as O’Neill’s cylinders and that sort of thing. I also vaguely recall trying to be Cat in the Hat and dangling by my tail, and playing ‘Helter Skelter ‘ on an acoustic guitar whilst swinging — this was probably easier in Mars’s lower gravity.
I think this is what happens when I listen to news and browse the BB all day, and then draw space-travel stuff before going to bed.
*sorry, my brain is a weird place

I have fifteen thousand books that need organizing and I have no idea how to do it.
I can’t sort them by genre because there are too many in-between genres.
I can’t sort them alphabetically by author’s last name because I don’t know the authors of any of my books so I’d never be able to find anything.
I can’t sort them alphabetically by title because that would split up series.
What do I do?
