I’m just picturing David tweeting at trump and it’s hilarious.
I think he’d stay off Twitter, it’s ‘the toilet of the internet’ as I heard it described once, and its snarky one-liners-and-memes format would be far too shallow for the rather long-winded sesquipedalian superlatives David liked to use. Now, John on the other hand…

If you were invited to the White House, would you wear a beanie?
Is that the journalist Trump took the mickey out of on his first day back at work after chemotherapy?
Where’d that picture come from????
Edit after checking last page: Was that there all along???
I thought it was an awfully strange question…

That’s Tim Pool. He’s an independent YouTube journalist who also happens to be a hardcore beanie-wearing skater madlad. His beanie is utterly iconic and we love to make fun of it, especially the fact that he ACTUALLY WORE IT TO THE WHITE HOUSE. I thought it would spark eelrailment, and it did.
@TheWalrusWasBrian here’s Tim, you, your wifey (I flipped the coin like you suggested, it landed tail-up), and Yours Truly (sorry I couldn’t fit Fiddy in)

Now that I think about it, I’ve actually been to the White House. We had to stand in a line for a very long time, and it was dreadfully hot. But when we got inside it was pretty cool (awesomeness-wise, and also temperature-wise because of air conditioning )

First, Beatlebug said [Random Tubing, in re Wigwam’s post]
I the Blue Ridge Mountains above all of Earth, I had no idea they had a song. Thanks, Wigwam!
(However, I’m mildly disappointed that that they refer to the Blue Ridge Mountains ‘over in Tennessee’ when everyone knows that there are more Blue Ridges in MY STATE! )
EDIT: After listening to the song on repeat for hours, I realised that he sings ‘over near Tennessee,’ not ‘over in Tennessee’.
Then Beatlebug said [Song I am On a Kick Of]
‘Blue Ridge Mountains‘ by Fleet Foxes
Well, that escalated quickly I just downloaded it from Amazon — something I never normally do. I felt I should have it handy for next time we go to the mountains mentioned in the song…

@50yearslate have you ever listened to Octopus’s Garden weighted down at the bottom of a swimming pool…?
Not recommending. It’s hard holding your breath that long.

I’m not a fan of Tim Pool in the slightest (his conversation with David Pakman was very revealing as to where his true intentions lie) but I love that it resulted in a discussion of the White House, particularly all the pictures! I wish I could go inside when I visit in September, but as I’m not a US citizen the waiting list is too long to be vetted.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.
