This is super random…
I had a dream last night about this horrible group project I had last week for economics, where we had to present our project to the entire grade. And for some reason @Beatlebug and Brian Epstein were in the audience. That was the only thing that kept it from being a nightmare.
That’s it. Like I said, totally random.

I dreamt about Jareth, the Goblin King, among other things. And I went back in time to the Court of the Sun King and brought some modern technology, so we had, like, Louis XIV buying s**t from Amazon or something.

I am alive (only barely, but it still counts). I was camping with my brother’s class where there was no internet. I spent all weekend trying to keep kids from killing each other with burning sticks, and from consuming too much sugar (both impossible tasks). It was some kid’s birthday, so they brought a huge cake that was covered in a really thick layer of frosting which ended up like this:
It all got fed to one kid who then filled a trash bag with leaves and dumped them onto various people’s cars. I had A Hard Day’s Night banging around in my head all weekend for obvious reasons, and it drove me slowly insane (but not as insane as everything else). And I have more exams this week.

50yearslate, SgtPeppersBulldog, Beatlebug, Getbackintheussr, ScarlettFieldsForeverI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Maybe the weirdest ad I’ve yet had on here
Targeted advertising, you see
Unfortunately I haven’t had any cool ads for a while, because Australia’s election is in 12 days and a mining magnate who has dabbled in politics before thinks that by spending $60,000,000 on advertising that he’ll win government (he’s polling around 3%…) even though he owes his workers $74,000,000. Aaaargh make it stop!

I swear I can remember someone else last year saying how they randomly got a lot of gay cruise ads on here before, can’t remember who tho.
Mine have recently just been a mixture of metal bands and jazz-rock fusion bands’ promotions for their UK tours, which is strange cos I’m not really big on either genres.

@AppleScruffJunior mentioned it once, I believe.

Totally unrelated question:Why do British people say ‘Maths’ and Americans say ‘Math’?
Confusing
‘Maths’ is short for Mathematics, whilst ‘Math’ is short for Mathematics.
Hope that helps.
Maths seems more correct grammatically, but it isn’t perfect — technically it ought to be abbreviated Math’s with an apostrophe to account for the missing letters.
And if you think that’s confusing, it’s hardly the most confusing discrepancy between US English/UK English/Canadian English/Australian English/the list goes on… when it comes to US versus UK English I’m a bit of an expert as I’m an American who has adopted a lot of UK conventions because I was a weird 14-year-old and I never got out of the habit of spelling things with OU’s.

Which one?
I think the maths/math distinction is actually one of the least confusing instances of oh-hey-some-people-have-another-word-for-this. Biscuits/cookies and chips/crisps/fries, for instance, are much more confusing to me.
Why are both of my examples food-related?
