My dad just told me, ‘Baby you can wash my car / Make it shine just like a star / Baby you can wash my car / And make sure you scrub it.’Apparently he thinks using a Beatles reference will be more effective in getting me to wash the car.
Did his little psychology trick work?

When I was in charge of planning a big conference, I told the people who reported to me that starting an email to me with Beatles lyrics or trivia would get my brain in a happy place before reading the rest of their message.
They took me up on it! That was a fun year!
Have you played Paul’s My Valentine for Valentine?

Well, of course. This is the man who did the cover art for Revolver and the Anthologies, you know.
You should check out his website, he’s got loads of beautiful art… I could waste so much time looking through it all…

I’ll have you know that until yesterday, I’d not listened to Bowie since I finished my last essay (which was over a week ago).

have you been possessed
I kid; it’s been a few days since I’ve heard George (excluding a few songs from the radio)
I’m in the third/fourth/I can’t keep track day of my Bowie kick and am anticipating a whole lotta Ziggy/The Next Day after school.

Well, whilst I was writing my essay I listened to nothing but Bowie, so I was giving him a break. I do try hard to stay balanced, and I had a Whole Lotta Led to get out and all that. Now we’re back where we were…

Balance… oh… I should try that sometime… might be a good idea.
Balanced is not a good word to describe me or anything I do, it’s rather unfortunate. Maybe this afternoon I’ll slip in some Rubber Soul or 33 1/3…
