I’m trying to write my closing statement for that accursed trial, it’s not going well. After my fifteen-to-twenty-minute-long statement last time, the teacher’s given us a time limit, and I can’t decide how many details I can include without going over the limit. 
Oh, and what’s more, I only have an hour to do it. i’m doomed.

Offline I have a stupid “career summit” field trip tomorrow. We get to sit for two hours each way on a cramped bus full of people (and you have to sit with your English class, which is full of people I barely know), and then disembark at some college campus, listen to a million lectures, and then, of course, they give us a bingo (to make things so much more “fun!”) that we have to fill out by talking to more people about what they’re doing, how they like college, etc. I’ve never understood the point of these things. But of course they can’t have the toffees using their own brains to think about anything, let alone such a responsibility as college…

Oh goodness, that sounds rather unpleasant. Hopefully you’ll learn something, though, to make it worthwhile? Best of luck all the same.

Offline The bloody trial has finally come to an end (thank Krishna ) and one guy was innocent of all charges, one guy was guilty of all charges, and two guys were guilty of crimes against humanity but innocent o war crimes.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to talk to the librarian because of the stupid scavenger hunt and bingo we had to do. I did go into the library, though, and that was pretty much the only exciting aspect of the whole trip.

I looked up the lyrics.
Edit: But wait, I’m so confused… I’m listening to Frankie right now and the lyrics definitely don’t match the ones that Google gave to me… sorry everyone, I may have given you a nonexistent lyric :/

I googled it as well, and I only saw the incorrect lyric on the default lyrics that pop up. I looked through them, and they also have other mistakes: “let it roll across the bog,” “Frankie Crisp, he has no legs,” “See the door to the northern bounty feast,” Through the walks and through the shade/Through the good one, may he rest awhile,” “Hanging chiefs and matching time,” “Eyes are shining but a river lies,” etc.
