I am now officially traumatized for life.ÂÂ
I used to have a watch like that when I was about 14. Not that actual watch, mine played eight different Beatles tunes – Yesterday , Hey Jude , Norwegian Wood , Help !…
I was very proud of it.
I was ten when I saw this at the local cinema. This, of course, is before it became Episode IV: A New Hope. 42 years later we reach the end – Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker…

I played some bass today. It made nice noises. Noot my cat was not impressed, the only noises I should be interested in is her desire for pats and food. Not stupid bass. Tomorrow I will play guitar and make faces at her.

Is your cat called Noot?Â
I’m unsure about that new Star Wars trailer… I was really excited for the Last Jedi, and was pretty disappointed by it. Hopefully this one will be better.Â

Getbackintheussr, Getbackintheussr, Beatlebug, ewe2I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.Â

The title is intriguing…I’m sure it’ll be enjoyable and crowdpleasing, and that some will be outraged. Same as Mr. Nasty, I was a ten-year old boy in ’77, so I’ve always been somewhat invested in the filmic saga (even tho I mostly skipped the prequel trilogy at the time), and just seeing it wrap up will provide me personally with a satisfying sense of completion. I hope it’s good, but won’t particularly mind if it isn’t. I’ll be happy just knowing that the galaxy is free from tyranny and unified again.

STAR WARSÂ
EPISODE X:
A NEW FORCE
The galaxy faces a new threat: ALIENS! from another galaxy.

Even though I was negative-23 in 1977, I rather feel the same way.

I’m trying out a bunch of random songs at 2x speed and laughing my arse off. ‘A Day In The Life ‘ is particularly hilarious.

Yeah, that sounds like a good one.
I have enjoyed playing the 1962 Cavern rehearsals of “One After 909 ” at 1.25 on occasions, just to nudge em into Chuck Berry tempo territoryÂ

Among other things, I also tried ‘”Heroes”‘ (hilarious) and ‘Comfortably Numb’ (sacrilegiously funny). And ‘It’s All Too Much ‘ was great, sounded like I Want To Hold Your Hand or some early Beatles thing.

Is it an automatic Fiddy when you respond to a previous post? I thought it referred only to the top-of-page posts-without-context…
BB, you could try the econo-version of “crazy diamond i-ix” at 2x when you’re in a hurry.
And hmm…now I wanna check out some halfspeed Star Club things, to hear the deep roots of stoner metal

Its meaning has been extended to when you’re making a post with ^ or and another post gets in between your post and the post you’re pointing at. Hope that makes sense

Yes I named my cat Noot. I’d forgotten about the penguin reference so how good is my subconscious with names, eh!
Also trip report: did play guitar and make faces at Noot. Noot gave the distinct impression that if I wanted to keep my remaining eye, cats will accept tributes of food and pats as an apology. Then she jumped on me and tried to drag my hand away to eat it. She has no appreciation for music at all. I will retaliate with kazoo tomorrow.
