double post but let's see…
I was having dinner with my Dad and we watched the last inning of Phillis and San Fco (I think that was the game) and the left fielder (is that the name) caught the ball in a spectacular way.
Here comes the sun….. Scoobie-doobie……
Something in the way she moves…..attracts me like a cauliflower…
Bop. Bop, cat bop. Go, Johnny, Go.

Yes, Mith – Left Fielder is correct.
And, yes again – it was a spectacular catch.

No, Mith, I did not see it as it happened. I saw your post and checked it out on MLB.com.
It was Raul Ibanez of the Philadelphia Phillies who made a really nice catch at the wall.
Do you and your dad enjoy watching baseball?

Oh I thought you were watching the game Zig.
Do we enjoy watching baseball? Yeah, actually my Dad loves it. He likes to watch baseball, tennis, bowling (he was very good at it), and sometimes soccer but the soccer sports narrators annoy him very much. he prefers quiet baseball narrators (and ESPN has for Latinoamerica very good ones). I like to sit with him and watch them, but it's more spending time with him rather than watching the sport (unless the game is exciting). I'm usually solving a Sudoku or knitting, but I understand the game and I know what a strike or a base on balls is.

Oh brother. Here we go again.
*sung to the tune of I'm Only Sleeping*
I’m at work trying to make some money.
mr. S posts – thinks he’s funny.
Gives me the score to the Yankees game,
Even though his team is lame.
Please don’t bore me
Just ignore me
Leave me well alone,
Until October.

2 AM is correct. I’ll probably be tired for a bit. In terms of other videos, I’ll see what I have. I have one importing now. And Zig, with me, baseball isn’t one or the other. I am a Yankees fan. My aunt is a huge fan. I have a Jeter jersey, an ARod one (a little unhappy when I realised he took ‘roids), and my main cap is a Yankkes cap. It’s not all or nothing.

Hi everybody! Anyone miss me? I was forced into a BBF/Beatles/internet-free zone when my old laptop finally died. It wasn't pretty. It might take me a while to get caught up, but it looks like business as usual here.
Tah for now.

(I don’t normally do this, but having a friendly mod as an ally always is helpful). Welcome back, Skye! Yes, I missed you, yes, it’s basically the same as when the laptop died, and the avatar is still awesome. Is the sense of humour still here, or did it die with the laptop?

No no, the skin is safe. Actually it should fit better on my new lappy.

So far so good… the set up for this one was certainly a lot quicker. If you put any pressure on my old laptop (i.e. the weight of an average female wrist) the screen will start showing glitchy blue stripes and freeze up. Very weird.
