My thoughts are with those families in Norway right now.
And I can't believe the Amy Winehouse news. She was a great singer and songwriter; Back To Black is probably one of my favourite albums ever. People keep focussing on her drug and alcohol problems and forget that she was an incredibly talented musician and at the end of the day she was so young. She was obviously troubled, and it's just a shame that nobody managed to reach out to her before it was too late.

Sad sad day.
I think it's great you're going through a phase,

There's an edit war on that article as to whether or not she deserves to be in the main category or not. (I say throw her in).

OK, I have found the funniest thing ever: A very pregnant Amy Poehler doing a rap. Even as someone who hates rap, this is just so funny.

Absolutely tragic news.
By the way, which Beatles releases are we still waiting for? There's Carnival Of Light , and full-length Helter Skelter …are there any more?
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.

That George track Circles, um, Now And Then (Lennon demo ala Real Love ), Child Of Nature . I think that's it. Oh, and Take Care of My Baby, September In The Rain and Love of the Loved (Decca songs never released). Enough for ya?
And, I have some news. For the first week of August, I will in the Big Apple, New York City. I will be walking Manhattan, seeing the sites and having a blast. I will be seeing a Mets (baseball) game on the first day in town, and I will be going to The Dakota. I will probably be unable to post (unless I get a few moments in the hotel room). But, I have even more awesome news. I'M SEEING PAUL IN TWO DAYS!!!

Speaking about Norway; I just found this incredible book about the norwegian language in other languages…
In France the Norwegians had with the verb to ship, which means to equip a ship (with everything needed to sail on long voyages). People who speak Roman languages??, are unable to pronounce words that begin with two consonants like sp. The older Norwegian word to ship were in French language esquiper, and laterbecame Equipe, that was transferred to the English word eqiup, and as jazz's old story,
which was exported back to Norway.

Um, did I mention I have some news? For the first week of August, I will in the Big Apple, New York City. I will be walking Manhattan, seeing the sites and having a blast. I will be seeing a Mets (Zig, I did try the Yanks first. They're in Chicago.) (baseball) game on the first day in town, and I will be going to The Dakota. I will probably be unable to post (unless I get a few moments in the hotel room).

If you go to Strawberry Fields please say to John that I love him and I miss him very much.
Posting some photos of the Dakota and Strawberry Fields would be greatly appreciated.
Have fun in NYC! And when you see Macca!
