That looks and sounds to me as though it’s a flugelhorn. It’s closely related to the trumpet. But what wonderful music!

Ah yes, flugelhorn, I think I remember now that’s what he plays. Flugelhorn seems a lot smoother than a French horn, which has a kind of brittle metallic sound comparatively.
