Far too many for my liking, considering my age. I envy the people who seem so carefree and unpreoccupied.
@meanmistermustard where you live sounds really lovely. I can just picture it I hope the company doesn’t win, that would be a big shame.

I love these random old threads that get bumped back into action.I’ll ask a question of everyone:
Do you have any major regrets in life? If so, care to say what they are…?
Probably the biggest regret I have is that I don’t talk with my older brother anymore. I mean I haven’t spoken with him in close to a year, and I haven’t seen him in close to two years. Our relationship, never the closest to begin with due to the age difference, has deteriorated to the point that it’s at now. Many factors- many he’s brought on, some I’ve brought on- has contributed. That’s really about all I can say about it, but there you go.

It will. Absolutely bugger all benefit to the community in regards jobs, carbon footprint (it will be far higher than the nearest town, almost triple), countryside or anything like that but £1.5m will be paid in rates and money is what counts. Plus no doubt a few of the people on the planning permission side will know some in the whiskey business and they will know some councillors and a few ‘sweeteners’ will make their way around.
George was right.
As for the regrets well as Frank should have sang, regrets i have a few, but then again, far too many to mention – and we’d be here for far too long and you’d all be bored senseless with my witherings.
Paul Anka should have come and spoke to me before he signed that off.

Ooooo, a Paul Anka reference…right after that dream I had.
I regret not going to see my grandmother in the hospital right before she died. I’m slightly off the hook because we didn’t know she was dying. She felt a little bad one day and drove for 3.5 hours from her home in the hills of Tennessee to a hospital in Memphis to be near family. We just thought she’d be there for a while, get better, and go back home to the house she loved. She died two days later while in the hospital. I wish I had taken some time to go see her.
I regret that I was raised in an extremely conservative Christian environment. But, hey, it’s my past, and I have to deal with it. I’m getting help from someone .

I don’t really regret anything big yet. I’ll probably end up with a few by the time I’m thirty.
Only thing I regret is something I had no control over, which is that both of my grandparents on my mom’s side died before I was born. I wish I’d gotten to meet them.

I can think of one specific major regret, but, since the rules say to answer honestly and it’s a rather long story that I don’t feel like typing out right now, I’ll just generalize it.
I wish I had used more discretion in picking friends and love interests (okay, so you don’t exactly “pick” love interests, but you know what I mean).
Is it time for a new question? Is that “everyone?”

@Necko From what I’ve read in this thread, it is o.k. to start a new question whenever you feel like it, without waiting for more answers to the last question posed.
I should have found this thread when I ask my jellies and jams question. Here’s part of that conversation. Feel free to let me know what you like on your toast.

If I were ever to have the pleasure of serving you toast at my house, which flavors of jellies and jams should I have on hand?
I presume thats meant to be in the Asking Paul a Question thread otherwise it’s very off the wall.
No, it wasn’t for Paul. Just a general question to all of you. Yep, very off the wall. I posed the question to my friends on Facebook one day and got some really cool responses. So I thought I would ask here. Is it too personal of a thing to ask on the forum? I can have a mod delete it if it is.
Cannot see how asking if someone likes jam and if so what flavours is too personal – just off the wall. If you were to ask what they did with those preserves then it might be going down a similar line to the Ask Paul a Question thread (don’t read that and then about jam).
As for lime marmalade is scrummy tho orange is fine, jam-wise raspberry or blackcurrant. Toast needs to be well done and preferrably the ends of the loaf.
What about yourself?
Thank you for asking. I am a grape jelly girl. I prefer Welch’s over Smuckers. Sometimes, however, I like my toast with just butter. I guess I could save the jelly more often for other *purposes*. Fuel for our fangirl fire. Thanks MMM.

All very good toast topping options.
I asked this on the choosing between two things thread, but only one person could answer there. So, do you fall asleep with music or t.v. on or do you need quite to get to sleep?
Me? In case you are wondering, I have to have it absolutely quiet.

Always music. I just shuffle my iPod’s entire library (which if played consecutively would be 5 and half days (which is still pretty small by forum standards)) I actually can’t go to sleep unless I’m listening to music. Even Clash/Green Day/Nirvana/Oasis type really loud stuff. Just need some good music.

I need quiet. I have an undiagnosed sleep disorder of some sort. I take Melatonin nearly every night. Otherwise, I never feel tired unless I’ve had far too little sleep.

Oh I got a question. How did you react when you found out about Paul’s death?
