What is your favourite film? Why?
My Dinner with Andre. I saw it when I was a teen during the darkest time in my life, and this simple, sincere conversation between two old friends gave me hope to keep going.
If your house was on fire and all humans/pets were safely evacuated, what one item would you go back and save (collections don’t count, you have to pick something from it).
A plush animal I’d named after my mom when she was still alive.
What was/is your favourite subject in school?
English in grade school, philosophy in high school and college. And now anything visual media related.
What club(s) were you a member of in school/university?
In high school, speech and debate and Amnesty International. In college, a couple of singing groups and a number of political groups.
Quick, look to your left- what is the first thing you see?
My older cat.
What has been the best moment(s) of your life so far?
Meeting Duran Duran, getting into my dream college, graduation, getting what was then my dream job, singing for a large audience, and finding out that Paul liked my Appreciate video. And having a couple of personal epiphanies I won’t go into here.
If you could have three wishes from a genie what would they be (you can’t ask for more wishes)?
I’ll have to go with Silly Girl’s idea of being happy and fulfilled since that could take so many forms. That the rest of the world be happy and fulfilled, because being happy while others are miserable seems a bit rude. The ability to time-travel, but as a (smash-proof) fly on the wall so I don’t affect history.
What is your ideal sandwich?
Truffle Umami Burger. Which, now that I’m cooking more, I will someday learn to make on my own.

What is your favourite film? Why?
Don’t have one. There are too many films.

Hmmm. . . I would probably take my computer.
What was/is your favourite subject in school?
Don’t have one
What club(s) were you a member of in school/university?
Girl Scouts. I went to Ireland with my troop.
Quick, look to your left- what is the first thing you see?
Chloe the cat
What has been the best moment(s) of your life so far?
The moments where I am happy and when people comment on my work.
If you could have three wishes from a genie what would they be (you can’t ask for more wishes)?
I would wish to become omnipotent then I wouldn’t need the genie for anymore wishes
What is your ideal sandwich?
Peanut butter

I’m bored, let’s talk about something (yes I am attempting to rail this thread). Here are some questions, feel free to answer as many (or as little) as you want:

Ready, set, go!
What an interesting set of questions. Before I answer, @AppleScruffJunior , I want to thank you for being such a fun person.
What is your favourite film? Why?
An Australian film, The Castle. Because the first time I saw it, I stood and cheered at the end. Every person I’ve shown it to since has stood and cheered at the end without being prompted to do so. No kidding.
If your house was on fire and all humans/pets were safely evacuated, what one item would you go back and save (collections don’t count, you have to pick something from it).
My paternal grandfather’s ring. If I don’t get the chance to leave it to my only brother’s only son, that would just suck.
What was/is your favourite subject in school?
English Literature – only because Mrs. Dow believed in me like no other teacher before or after her. I am forever grateful for that and will never forget her.
Quick, look to your left- what is the first thing you see?
A fireplace.
What has been the best moment(s) of your life so far?
When Zag & I rescued Indy. I saw her walking that beautiful horse down the lane and reached for my checkbook before they turned around to walk back to the barn. Yeah…that.
If you could have three wishes from a genie what would they be (you can’t ask for more wishes)?
1) All the people, living life in peace.
2) All the animals living free of abuse/neglect.
3) A lovely meal and conversation with my maternal grandfather who passed away before I was born.
What is your ideal sandwich?
Liverwurst, Swiss cheese, red onions and hot mustard on an onion roll. If it’s OK with ASJr, I would very much enjoy a side of cole slaw, Lay’s potato chips (you call them crisps) and at least two I.P.A.’s.
Ready, set, go!, indeed.

Oh I love Lough Key! I went there on a school tour in second year t’is great! My brother is going to be working there during the summer.
What year did you go there? (I imagine it was long before our Beatles Bibles membership). We could have met up
Small world, eh?

When I’m in the middle of a dream, I stay in bed, and float upstream. (Please don’t wake me now, don’t shake me, leave me where I am, I’m Only Sleeping .)
I have a special mental movie I play in my head to help me fall asleep. *zzzzzzzzz*

It depends on the night. It could be there and it couldn’t, as John put it (in a recording session, I think). Usually they’re neither good nor bad, just… dreams. How can I explain?
(Beatle dreams are always welcome, of course. )
Question:
Have you ever got a song in your head (for example, “If I Fell “) and found a bit later that your brain had progressed to the proceeding track (in this case, “I’m Happy Just To Dance With You “) without your even being aware of it? My brain does that all the time. Sometimes I wind up halfway across the univer– I mean, album– before I even know it.

I dream vividly at least once a week. They’re usually wacky, and rarely can I piece together any kind of story from them. Like, last night I dreamt I was watching an X-Files crossover series, and all the X-Files actors were very vivid in my dream. But when I woke up, I had no idea what show it was crossed with.
BTW, a doctor told me that on average, we have 16 dreams a night. We just don’t remember them all.

Several mornings a week I awaken remembering having dreamed something, but full-on recall of details, or even more than a mere speck, is less frequent.
My most vivid dreams occur when I’m sleeping at an irregular time, like if I nap on the couch after work or a Sunday afternoon.

Why do cats eat?
Cats eat for a variety of reasons, the key one being to stay alive (ha ha ha ha). They need a regular intake of vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fats like every other living creature. One of the characteristics of a living thing is ‘nutrition’. Therefore cats are living creatures so they need food.
Now you have no excuse to starve cats Annadog.

What is your favourite film? Why?
I have too many. The Notebook, Harry Potter, loads of them.
If your house was on fire and all humans/pets were safely evacuated, what one item would you go back and save (collections don’t count, you have to pick something from it).
Probably something electronic. Either my mini laptop/tablet thingie or my regular laptop.
What was/is your favourite subject in school?
English and art history in grade school, and now Psychology, Philosophy and Pedagogics.
What club(s) were you a member of in school/university?
None.
Quick, look to your left- what is the first thing you see?
A book on how to reflect.
What has been the best moment(s) of your life so far?
About 2 years ago, everything seemed in it’s place. That year was full of great experiences and for a long time I was very happy.
If you could have three wishes from a genie what would they be (you can’t ask for more wishes)?
I would wish an infinite amount of wishes, and then I would wish stuff like world peace, animals and people being free of abuse and neglect, enough money to make my parents and me comfortable, to travel back in time, like @Parlance suggested, for my grandma to get healthy again, and that would be enough for now.
What is your ideal sandwich?
You know those Subway sandwiches? Yeah, one of those. They have oregano bread, and then I would have pepperoni, ham, salad, onions, tomatoes, olives, spicy cheese and this one sauce I forgot the name of.

Do you believe the reincarnation?
I don’t think so; after all there are 7 billion plus of us now and there have never been that many people around before – so there are a lot of new souls coming from somewhere.
Also, even if it happens, it seems a bit pointless if you can’t remember your past life.

Do you believe the reincarnation?
I like to pretend I’m the reincarnation of one of the screaming girls who’d chased the Beatles about in A Hard Day’s Night , or something, as a joke. But I don’t really.
