Do you think you would ever write a Beatles Bible book?

Was that aimed at me? I have one book on the go, which will possibly be completed one day. I have a couple of other ideas too, but I’ve found writing this first one so difficult I think I’d probably do a Harper Lee and leave it another 50 years. I don’t think I’m cut out for longform writing.

I’ve no plans to turn this website into a book. Day-by-day histories and guides to the songs and the albums have been done already. I also once calculated that if I put everything on the main part of the site into a series of books it would stretch to about a dozen volumes (there are about 1.3 million words on here, though a lot of the pages are quite repetitive in the case of all those Cavern Club and Hamburg shows).

Sounds good – I’ll put it on the shelf next to my hardcopy Wikipedia :)

Flying like Superman (or jumping long distances as he did in the early comics). There is a Special Administrative Region of China I would rather be in just now :)

Trouble tho is what happens if you use the power on the wrong person. Could be quite embarrassing.

I’ll go with Musical Spell Casting!

I. I get to play my guitar.
II. I could cast other spells… Using my guitar!
1. I can use my guitar to make myself play guitar better.
2. I could reverse the aging process.
i. This power would be particularly useful on one. P. Boyd.
ii. I could do that same for anyone I like (the living Beatles), or anyone willing to pay me enough!
3. I could use a seduction spell, working similarly to AG’s powers, and attract that certain P. Boyd.
III. Do I need to be able to do anything else?

EDIT: Doesn’t look like it formatted that correctly on mobile. Hopefully it looks good on desktop. It still makes sense if you read it right.

If I spoke prose you'd all find out, I don't know what I talk about.

Can buy Joe love!
If you're shopping at one of these two websites use the links below to support the Beatles Bible:

All superpowers come with risks (just watch The Incredibles). Those who wield them must do so carefully and responsibly. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

Same. I’m growing weary of traffic jams.

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

What happened with the choosing-between-two-things thread? Has it been merged with this one?

No, it’s right here, @Oudis .

Here’s a thread searching tip for the future if you can’t find it through the official Beatles Bible search.  Go to Google.  Type “[whatever you’re searching for] site:beatlesbible.com/forum.”  Whatever thread you’re searching for will usually be the first result.  It’s how I found the thread you were looking for.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.
