Hell no, what for? And having to go through the ’60s and the ’70s –the ridiculous fashion, the social turmoil, the hippies and the punks, the avant garde and the poseurs? I’m an ’80s guy, and proud to be.
What place and age would you go back to? Reply and then I’ll tell you my own fantasy of time travel.

A lot of what you described can be said of the 80s as well, lol.

I would go back to being 14 (10 years ago) because I got to travel a lot. One the places I got to visit was New York. If I had a time machine I would go back 40 years before that, 1964, to New York. PartIcularly a certain month, February. I would just have to adjust to the weather.

I would go back to last Saturday with last Sunday’s newspaper featuring the winning lottery numbers in hand.
Do you part your hair (assuming you are not bald) in the middle or to one side?

To Zig’s question : one side.
Why choose that time – it is really different. And, if I didn’t like it, it wouldn’t matter too much because it wouldn’t last long.

I am going bald so I have an 80’s Bruce Willis haircut.

Why live among barbarians who couldn’t build more than wooden cabins when you could be a citizen of the Roman Empire, which was building long aqueducts and roads, and choose civilization with all its perks?
Anyways, I said I would tell you my time-travel fantasy: I would go back to the Victorian times, to London late nineteenth century, and try to meet Richard Burton, Lord Tennyson, Lewis Carroll, Joseph Conrad, H.G. Wells…

To the side, @Zig. Unless my hair’s getting long (like now) then it just falls in front all Beatley, and if it’s right after I get it cut it’s sometimes in the middle.

I’ve lived in the USA all my life. I think I have the Roman mindset figured out…we’re the biggest, baddest, best.
I’ve always wondered if I would be happier living in an old Germanic tribe.

Now there’s something we didn’t know about the Secretive @Mr. Kite; he isn’t losing his hair. He is still young, maybe? Or just one of the lucky ones? Will he reply to this post?

^ I remember that too, AD40.
Also, somewhere I got Kite to admit that he is under 50 so that it didn’t look too bad for him to be lusting afer a young Pattie.

So his identitiy is revealed. He is a male, less than 50 years of age, living somewhere in New England and parts his hair either to one side or in the middle.
And he said we would never guess – HA!
BOT:
If you could end only one of the world’s major problems (hunger, disease, war, etc…) what would it be? Why is that one most important to you?
