I like The Next Day cover. It’s provocative.

The Next Day is a decent cover. I don’t know what it means but it isn’t ugly, it’s kind of a creative “reminiscing the past but still moving forward” kind of thing, probably.
but it’s not pretty

I think it’s much less appealing than the music it represents, so it’s definitely part of the category for me.

BUT NO HE IS ANIME MAN
At least it’s better than The Next Day (it’s just the heroes cover but weird!!! what is so interesting about that?) and the Space Oddity cover

1) The Next Day is a bad cover
2) Reality creeps me the f—- out and I hate it. It always reminds me of this from one episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog for some reason:

Space Oddity is better than TND or Reality, but it’s still not that great. Just okay. The best thing about it is Bowie’s face and pooodle perm, but they’re only half there. So.

I adore the dress cover for The Man Who Sold The World… It makes me want to cross-dress so badly every time I see it

Uggggghhhhh I looooove the dress cover it is i c o n i c – aesthetically pleasing on a textural/color scheme level as well as Bowie being an androgynous king every time I see it I want to un-cross-dress*
*This is actually tricky. It’s a dress, and he’s a man, so you’d assume he’s cross-dressing, but he also insistently insisted that it’s a man’s dress, which I suppose it is as it’s designed for a male body (albeit a very scrawny one), so if it’s a dress but it’s a men’s garment and I wore it, would I be cross dressing? Who is crossing who? I am confused but I’m always happy to be confused by David Bowie

That ugly cartoon drawing is likely inspired by “Running Gun Blues”, and the inclusion of the clock tower suggests that Bowie was also thinking of Charles Whitman.

Or something to annoy Joe whose dislike of multiple thanks seems to be being ignored a lot at the minute?

To be fair, I think since Joe’s frustration was made known there has been quite a bit less spam-thanking for the sake of it, but sometimes you accidentally double click and it happens even if you don’t mean it to. What can I say, we’re imperfect people

I doubt a thank appears eight times by accidentally clicking once.
