Slytherin here. Cunning, resourceful, ambitious. Plus, 1989 was the year of the snake.

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I’m very sad that even though the Sorting Hat gets a new song every year this one never came back.
That isn’t a sorting hat song, that is the school song.
Yes, I know. That is precisely what I was complaining about. We only get to hear the school song once! They only sing it once, and it is never mentioned again! It’s quite sad.
Love one another.

I’m a Ravenclaw/Slytherin hybrid- probably gearing more towards the CAW CAW variety though.
Also, to make you happy Fiddy, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts is probably sung every year and at major events. We just don’t get to hear it because Harry misses a lot of the opening ceremonies so he wouldn’t hear it, and it would be fierce boring to have to read the lyrics every. single. book and at Halloween, Christmas etc.

i’m always amazed people never say Gryffindore. I’m not sure I can relate as well to the other houses but the characteristics people often attribute to each house, I often find mixing together in my personality. So, Gryffindore it is.

^ I think everybody thinks “oh Gryffindor, what a tryhard, probably hasn’t even read the books/seen all the films”. It’s the bog-standard answer and really the traits of Gryffindor are quite narrow and so a lot of people feel they probably don’t fit into it- chivalrous, brave, adventurous, daring- they’re very ‘bad ass’ characteristics.
Being creative, knowledgeable, loyal, patient, hard-working, ambitious, determined etc. are more achievable and are on a broader spectrum than ‘the brave ones’.

I would hate the Gryffindores if I went to Hogwarts. Winning all of the quidditch, Dumbledore’s extreme favoritism, and the haughty sense of superiority. If I was in Gryffindor Id definitely be a huge Quidditch fanboy

Nice Gryffindorlifer here. Every time I take the pottermore test, always Gryffindor. I’d be the opposite of a hat stall for sure. Nice to see another one from my house.

Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw are best houses just saying
Hufflepuff-– raises plants, unconditional support and affection, non-abrasive, forgiving, will bake you fresh bread and pies, loyal and patient, strong understanding of ethics, will pet-sit/house-sit/babysit for a reduced price and will do a good job at it
Ravenclaw— smart af, will help you with your studies, gives logic-based advice that’s fairly reasonable, thinks things through, suggests good books to read, non-foolish, creative af, have a good witty sense of humor

I love the theory that Hufflepuff are the stoner house. I mean, it’s not entirely inaccurate

Oh I know, Ravenclaw scum. Nobody ever said they were nice though. Hufflepuffs would never do that, too nice and stoned.

Well they’re not mutually exclusive, Luna is nice and she’s creative. Cho is smart and also reasonably nice. Terry is smart, brave and loyal.
James Potter is brave but an absolute dick.
Tonks is loyal, brave and smart.
And Slytherins are always evil.
