Same here, nothing beats a nice walk while listening to Beatles music. For me, i prefer to walk in cooler temperatures in shorts and a t shirt, around 45-65F, because your body naturally creates heat when you walk.

Exercise in general is rather awful, but I rather like going for walks (although I don’t really think of it as exercise). The dog loves it so much, and it’s nice to take a break and breathe fresh air and look at the trees.

I am also in the pro-walking/anti-every other form of exercise camp.

I love that exercise you do with your arms when you place and then later lift up the needle on your records.

Walking, going up stairs, and lifting weights are my favourite exercises. I hate yoga. a-hard-days-night-paul-3 I also like any exercise that masquerades as something else useful/fun/more interesting than just plain exercising, like gardening or martial arts.

Ooh, yes to this! I spend many beatific hours doing yardwork (headphones on, usually playing jazz or Beatles podcasts); I guess it counts as exercise too.

If there’s physical exertion involved, then yes. Certainly counts more than sitting on yer bum. a-hard-days-night-john-6

We’ve been cleaning out our attic so I’ve got my exercise these past couple days. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

GOING UP STAIRS?!? Ever since an experience with a four-story Airbnb with my room at the very top of the house (combined with my forgetful nature which caused me to leave pencils and things upstairs and then have to go back up all three flights of stairs to get it and then going all the way down again and then realizing I forgot paper, etc) I have hated stairs with a passion.

Love one another.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Tell me about it… in both my house at home and my uni house, which are both quite tall, I’m right on the top floor. Mind, it’s probably good exercise for me as Bebu points out

My house hasn’t any stairs, but I’ve started going up and down the stairs on campus and I’m getting quadriceps of steel a-hard-days-night-george-10

Love to all the walkers (and the thumbers, @William Shears Campbell ), it’s certainly something that gets you warm especially in the really odd cold wet weather we seem to be having in the wrong hemisphere at the moment! So I will take the opportunity to ask yet another question: pullover hoodie, or zip-up? I generally prefer a pullover so I can chuck my phone and wallet in the pocket as well as keep my hands warm; but zip-ups are good when it gets a bit warmer.

I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe.  This has been true for 2016 & 2017 Sig-Badge.png but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Hoodies with zips.

Anything without pockets is a waste of money.

I’m not the biggest fan of hoodies anyways, but definitely pullovers.
