My first instinct was Yellow Submarine , but I couldn’t live without Hey Bulldog or It’s All Too Much so I would have to choose Beatles For Sale .
But… I’m A Loser ! And I’ll Follow The Sun ! And Baby’s In Black ! And No Reply ! And– *Proceeds to name every song on Beatles For Sale *
The weirdest question I’ve ever been asked? I’m going to have to go with something one of my “peers” asked me after my Chemistry class from some time ago:
“Well, if you’re so smart, where can I buy a hydrogen atom? I bet I would get a good grade if I brought one in.” People pay so little attention in class that sometimes I can’t believe it.

Why are there a full bunch of questions in only one morning… Alright, I’ll answer:
1. What is your favourite movie (besides the Beatles ones) and why?
(Believe it or not, it takes me quite a while to think outside the Beatley ones)
Carol. It’s a wonderful piece of art.
2. If you had to give up one Beatles album so that it poofed out of existence, which would it be and why?
Err… Beatles For Sale because there isn’t any song I can’t live without. Yellow Submarine has Hey Bulldog , and Let It Be … *sees SF91 walking out* wait, I’ll say it’s OK, despite some meh songs!
3. What’s the weirdest question someone’s ever asked you?
“Why don’t we do it in the road?”
P.S. I’d very much like to hear SF91 giving an eel lecture

Favourite movie: At the moment it’s probably Before Sunrise, because the dialogue is so amazing.
Beatles album to *poof* out of existence: I think Beatles For Sale overall is the worst, but honesty it would probably be Please Please Me , since there aren’t copious amounts of songs I really enjoy on there.
Weirdest question: “would you like a pink wafer biscuit?”

Holy crap how many questions are there?!?
1. My favorite kind of eel is StrawberryFields91.
2. I’m not sure why people are so annoying, but if anyone figures it out please do let me know.
3. What has happened to the world? Hmm. A great many things have happened to the world. First it was created. Then life began to form in the– well. You get the idea.
4. Aren’t eels eely? I suppose, but I prefer to think of them as “eelish.”
5. Favorite movie, oh crap… I don’t know. Love, Simon is really good.
6. Weirdest question someone has ever asked me. Excluding “are eels eely ( 😉 ) ” there are quite a few:
– How are you so tall?
– Why are you so tall?
– (insert various other stupid questions pertaining to my height)
Tbh I probably ask more weird questions than I receive, and I’m blanking on all the other ones right now.
7. EXCUSE ME?!? You want me to GET RID OF A BEATLES ALBUM?!? THIS THREAD IS BECOMING HELL
Well, my first instinct was Let It Be , but if we can kill a compilation I’ll choose the same one as Kaniffee.

And then later he does Star Wars!

ewe2’s omnibus of answered questions:
What is your favorite type of eel?
An eel-type penguin but in guitar form. Penguin guitars rock.
Why are people so annoying?
There are better alternatives. Penguins aren’t annoying, they’re inquisitive. Replace people with penguins.
What has happened to the world?
The world’s in a mess and penguins just need to … rule it.
Aren’t eels eely?
Ok, in all honesty I don’t know the answer to this. If I said “penguins are just as penguiny” you’d be justified in thinking I was avoiding the question. Of course penguins are just as penguiny, but you’ll have to take my word on that.
What’s the weirdest question someone’s ever asked you?
When I was a kid, I used to get asked if I was Jewish a lot. When I told them that actually I was 3rd generation Scottish and smaller parts Irish and English, they never seemed convinced. It didn’t seem to matter what I answered, and the reply was often “well you look Jewish” and the lesson is that people are stubborn about stupid ideas. They’ve never asked me about penguins which is a much better question.
What is your favourite movie (besides the Beatles ones) and why?
Difficult choice, but probably the one I would take to a desert island is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. There are no penguins in it, but there is a deadly rabbit and some fairly deadly cows.
What is your favourite colour?
Green, no blue! Aaaaaaaahhh.
If you had to give up one Beatles album so that it poofed out of existence, which would it be and why?
You could be really sneaky and nominate one of the Capitol releases because it wasn’t specified what type of Beatles album you could disappear. Alas, the penguin code of integrity prevents me from using that excuse so I’ll just say the Beatles sophomore effort, With The Beatles . It’s not the first so it’s less crucial and mostly made up of covers and lesser songs. You could argue the same is true of Beatles For Sale , which is justifiable on the same terms but I just can’t give that album up.

I don’t have a set song or album I listen to – it’s usually just whatever song I’m on a kick of on that today. Yesterday , that was Revolution (the ‘live’ version).
