We’d get by but there would be an economic crisis. Millions would die. Your power would go out since internet coordinates a huge amount of daily things.
If you can't log in and can't use the forum go here and someone will help you out.

If the Internet and all television was permanently shut down tomorrow, what would you do with your life?
Take a bubble bath then log back into the forum. In that space of time someone would figure out how to get it all back on.

@AppleScruffJunior should be pleased, Ireland seems to be a recurring candidate on the lists of countries BBers would like to visit. Her PR (brainwashing?) has served her well.

Ge on with it. People got by 100 years ago, we would too.
Well, I kinda meant “what would you do with your spare time?,” rather than “would you survive?.”

Do you wash your clothes at a laundromat or do you have a washing machine and dryer at your house?

there are a lot more options than those three!
You take all your clothes to get dry-cleaned, wash them in a river, lake, pool, bucket, you can just spot-clean, you can just not wash your clothes, you can spray them with febreze…
the possibilities are endless!

Yeah, but I ended the list with an ellipsis, so that implies that it goes on beyond what I mentioned.

Does anyone have any approaches to life that they try to life by, I don’t mean be nice as we all should do that or get up each day and eat 43 raisins before 6:27am.
My two are:
No regrets. I try and do what I believe is the correct thing to do, after coming to the decision. It helps do things that otherwise I would deliberate over, never do for whatever reason, and look back at thinking what if, why and/or why didn’t I.
Take no offense, mean no offense. I’m always able to say the wrong thing at the wrong time in the wrong way but it’s never intended. I also aim to never take offense as it’s my choice in the end and it’s not worth it.

That’s a fascinating question, really!
I share the attitude towards offences. The last time I’ve been offended or have offended somebody is ages ago – it’s simply a waste of energy and time.
Other than that, I came to accept quite a few things:
– there’s no general purpose in life. We’re all here because of a chain of coincidences.
– there is no such thing as objectivity, truth, reality, morality or even beauty because everything is subjective. I believe that our senses and our brain don’t perceive reality because that would imply reality (an objective truth) exists which I don’t think is the case. Everyone creates his/her own subjective world with their brain and they are all slightly different and none of them is in any way ‘more true’ than the other. Therefore, open-mindedness is very important to me.
– Compared to the universe we’re incredibly, immeasurably insignificant
Although I believe in subjectivity, I still have strong ideals because there might not be a universal morality but I can still define morality for myself and live in a way I consider to be moral (which I also do).

BeatlebugNot once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's
