Question time:1. Do any of you ever wake up with a cat on your face? (Or any kind of pet.) (I don’t have a cat, but I’d love to have one, and would let it sleep on my face if it wished.)
2. Are you sick of hearing Christmas music yet? (This question is not for LPD, cos I know you aren’t.) (I am.)
1. It only happened once, not in my house because mum doesn’t allow pets. It was during my study holiday in Japan. Our local teacher invited all of her students home so she could check our goodbye speech. She had two dogs, Mae and Maru. One of them was afraid of all of us and would stay hidden under the table while the other one was quite lively. Since some of us had very long speeches to check/had many errors to correct we slept over at her house. As it turned out I was the luckiest one on one hand and the unluckiest one on the other hand. I had a whole room for myself unlike everyone else but I had just sheets without the bed. The lively dog came to my room because I forgot the door open but I didn’t put much thought to it at the time. It then left and before going to sleep I left my hair tie on the floor next to me. In the morning I thought I felt something on my face and I suddenly woke up screaming. It was obviously the dog licking my face and then proceeding to take my hair tie and eat it =w= Everyone else laughed during breakfast because apparently the dog only came to my room. I got quite upset at the time because I can’t go on without hair ties as my hair can’t be tamed easily.
2. Not really. I think it’s because I don’t pay attention to it or because I’m very selective regarding Christmas music. Before I got my headphones though I did get irritated at times.

Another question for anyone:
What does you Beatles Bible username mean to you? Is it just a username, or is it part of how you see yourself, here and elsewhere?
Mine is quite special to me. It’s part of my identity, as Silly as that sounds*.

I think I’ve chosen mine because I can relate to the Beatles on an emotional level more than I can to other bands and singers. A sort of bond of souls through music or something similar, if it makes sense at all.

Not a lot, I think. It was the first song title that could also be a name in itself. I use it in a few other places out of sheer laziness.
It’s a nice fit to who I portray myself to be (i didn’t know that at the time) but in truth i’m hoping to, in time, lose that portrayal. A work in progress.

I quite like mine; I chose it from one of my favourite George solo songs. I think it suits me as well. Maybe there’s a handful of other things too, but I’m not quite sure.

1. Cat on my face would tell me that they love me. A cat on your face would tell you they love you, too. I’d like to wear a purring rug, when one sits on my mug, it blows me away. Cats on your face might be one cat too many, you can’t sit on one because that would be squishy. Life would be fine with a puss stuck to mine, if they sit on our faces and play, we’ll be blown away. Merry Christmas.
2. There’s a song by Eric Idle about Christmas I quite like. Not so much the rest.

I expect you would know more about you than anyone else, particularly one who only knows you via the Internet, but I would say you are more of a SmilingAtlasCedar than a WeepingAtlasCedar. However, literal meaning aside, the sound of the name certainly does suit.
Which just goes to show that, even if you at first may be inclined to regret your name choice or think it may not, after all, suit as well as you originally thought, you will in time make it your own, until the name grows to suit you.

Huh. That’s quite interesting.
I think I seem so happy on the BB because I try to filter myself to keep certain negativity out. After all, it’s nice to be able to come here and experience some positivity, with a world like this one being like it is. I guess that’s just part of my contribution here: helping maintaining the positive community environment a little.

Mine is simply a reference to one of my favourite songs, with some of my (awful) humour attached. But it is still better than my nickname at any other forum you may choose that I’m at.
And mmm, because of your nickname, I went and listened to Mean Mr Mustard , and it is also now one of my favourite songs, so I feel I need to say thank you to you, so here it is: Thank you, mmm.

Hardly candid questions – more like choosing between two things – but since you asked, I’d pay to see an amazing dancing bear.If you could go back in time and be one Beatle for one day, which Beatle would you like to be and on which day?
I’d have to choose between my egoistical and sensitive side.. If I were to choose my sensitive side, which I probably would, I would have been John from the future saving his mum from the car accident the day it happened. For some reason the event hits me as well so I’d try to prevent it. That would probably cause another death somewhere else though because of the butterfly effect. My other side instead would choose to be Paul on my birthday so I’d get the chance to be recording and playing gigs with my two favourites. And I’d be the cute songsmith. It would have been the best birthday of my life. My character is more similar to George’s, that’s why I’d choose to be the one who is less similar to me.

If you had it to do all over again, would you?Without doubt.
Why have the chance to do it all again and end in the same place?
It depends largely on whether or not you like where you are.
This next question comes out of sheer curiosity and is not meant to offend. So many people in this Forum profess to be introverts. The only reson why I am mildy surprised is that, for most of my life, most Beatles fans I know/knew personally were extroverts like me. Online, however, it seems to be a different story. What do you suppose is the link between the Beatles and being introverted? Please don’t feel obligated to answer if it makes you uncomfortable.
Well, I can’t say anything about my friends as none of them likes the Beatles. Hence, I can only speak for myself. I’m one of those big introverts that can go on writing for hours but doesn’t talk much in real life. In my case the connection with the Beatles comes from the fact that they make me feel well with my character as long as I listen to them. You might call it a cure through music. Whenever I need to vent or don’t want to hear arguments I listen to Across The Universe . It’s just me and my headphones or, hopefully, later on, a record player. I just have to listen and I’m not forced to talk. One thing that I love is listening to them on the plane during holiday. I look at the clouds and put on a Beatles soothing melody and I feel alright. At the same time though their music did change me a bit. I used to hate every single song by any singer/band that talked about love, kissing or romance (that obviously leaves out quite many songs haha :’D) but I can listen to all Beatles love songs now, even the ones with the slowest rhythm. It wasn’t even a gradual thing. All of a sudden.

I figured that was the case; I’m certainly more lighthearted on the internet, or hanging out with my friends, than I really am*. We all have our dark sides, I suppose, but I mask mine with a goodly layer of humour most of the time. ‘Tis a Georgey thing: ‘Hide the moments when I feel blue’.

And therein lies your answer in a nutshell, @Zig.
For me, I find it far easier to communicate via writing than the ups and downs of a physical real-time conversation. I have time to think about what I’m going to say, and time to edit my response, and I don’t have to say anything if I don’t want to. In fact, a lot of my social interaction is through writing (I actually don’t see many of my friends that often; we communicate via email a good deal).
Does that make me sound like a recluse?
*Believe it or not, I can get very grouchy, especially if I haven’t enough sleep. Especially if I have to talk to people (as opposed to wanting to talk to people — makes a world of difference with me).

unknown was a joke, because I was joining the forum as somebody new, but many of the members already knew who I was (though I was more like an unknown known since they didn’t know they knew me… except Sun king – he always knew). I’m generally a pretty enigmatic person, so I feel that I really am an unknown entity, not only on this forum, but everywhere in life.
Little Piggy Dragonguy is after Little Lamb Dragonfly since I was really into that song at the time. Piggy is because I like pigs and Dragonfly is because I wanted it to rhyme with the song title. The combination of this username and my avatar for this username makes me really happy, but I don’t think I’m generally a really happy person so I don’t think it defines who I am, but it might define who I am when I am thinking about cute pigs…
