Now, for a random question that I just thought of:@pepperland , @Beatlebug and @anyoneelsewhoreallytakesalikingtoPinkFloyd, what are your least favourite Floyd tunes?
I honestly couldn’t choose right now; I haven’t yet heard all of their work!
Well, I quite like Corporal Clegg, I think SG is very silly to hate it— don’t you think it’s nice to have a non-serious PF song for once? It would fit well on the Yellow Submarine album alongside Only a Nothing Song, albeit the less depressing variant.
That’s a really hard question–I’d say my least favourites are probably from PF-post 1985 when they ran out of Water. Not that I don’t like the songs on The Division Bell or the [adjective] [noun] of [noun] albums, but they ain’t Floydy enough for me– they’re too generic.
As for specific songs, I have no idea…

That’s not why I don’t like it! I love non-serious PFsings cos non-serious is pretty much my business. I hate it because of the kazoo, mostly. It’s loudly and badly recorded and is but one step away from Wild Honey Pie -discordant-annoyingness. It drives me up The Wall with kerwinkles and shiverygumps up and down my spine.

Me too! I actually quite like the kazoo-work on that one.

Though I haven’t listened to much of their post ’85 work, from what I have heard of it, I can say that I seem to feel about it in a similar sort of way. I don’t hate it, but it just doesn’t have that lovely magic that their other stuff has.

Does the Beatle have to be living or does any Beatle apply? Can we include fifth Beatles? Would the padded cell be locked? Would there be instruments of any kind in this padded cell?
and this
But is the June beetle a Beatle?
The June Beatle is a human. Or a god. I’m not sure, but the June Beatle is not a beetle.

I think we all know which Beatle of Choice yours would be.
The June Beatle
My Beatle of Choice… but I think you can guess…
Pete Best!
No, George actually. Obviously. I know, I’m predictable… and not ashamed of it.
*JPM-Kitty would be Mademoiselle Paulvert

One that is still alive, thank you very much.
Of the two that fit this criteria, I’d say Paul. Nothing against our dear Richie, it’s just that Paul seems to be more creative which means we would find interesting ways to pass the time until rescued.

I think I’d choose The Trial from The Wall. It sounds like it’s sung by the Kit Kat Club emcee from Cabaret.

That’s hard for me to say. I don’t post nearly as much as I used to. It’s not a case of the novelty wearing off – far from it. At this point in my Forumhood, I am more selective and mostly post in my favorite fun threads – like this one. I’ll also poke around in most threads as part of my Mod duties and contribute when I have something to say or feel I can provide a laugh or two to brighten someone’s day. But I don’t feel the need to post in every thread just for the sake of posting.
In any event, I hope I am still around in nine years. I also hope there will still be a Fab Forum to post in.
@Joe – by that time, your Ted should be an Admin!
