I’m pretty new here and sense that I ruffle some feathers sometimes, particularly those of the serious experts on all things Beatle.
Not really, got a good vibe from you, like your avatar. Last user that gave me an off vibe was herseydenvar.

@U.C.Nothing, I find you to be a good forumpudlian. Want to see ruffled feathers? See conversations with Sceptic or MOCKSWELL in them. There are so many kinds of scones out there.
Now I’m hungry.
EDIT: So you’re a Texan. I’ve lived in Oklahoma for 19.5 years now. I had my first scone when I went to London. It was like the first picture.
Ahhh Girl, that first one looks just like what we call a regular biscuit here, right? I guess scones are the equivalent of our muffins. I’d love to try one in their regular environs.
... and in her eyes, U.C. Nothing ...

I’d agree.
There may be people who know more about the Beatles than others, but that’s just because they’ve spent a lot of time learning. Even the most knowledgeable of us learn something new from time to time.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

If Ringo Starr joined the forum, how long would it take for you to believe it is him?

I’d have to meet him in person and watch him log into his account on the forum. (Hey, good excuse to meet Ringo, right?!)
Here’s the scone story.
It was our last night in London. Mom wasn’t going to leave London with out having a clotted cream tea. We went into a restaurant somewhere near Harrods. Thankfully, they had clotted cream tea on the menu. Mom ordered it. The waiter brought out the tea. Mom **kept** asking where her clotted cream was. The waiter **kept** telling her that her scones were coming. Mom was getting nervous and making the waiter nervous. Then the waiter brought out the scones. Mom asked again where the clotted cream was. An elderly English gentleman had observed the whole episode. He calmly walked up to our table, picked up a scone, and showed my mom that you put the “clotted cream”/butter and jam on the scone. My mom look astonished. She thought the cream was something you put in the tea like milk or something.
Yes, you may laugh at our expense.

Classic British kindness. Imagine how difficult it was to decide to intervene.

Does viewing Paul as a sex god count as viewing him as human?

Yes, I think so … I’ve always been wondering ‘how do they smell like…?’ Is that way too strange?
Probably cigarettes, if you look at them in the mid 60’s- constantly puffing away, in particular George.

Not at all!

I’ve often wondered what George smelled like. According to my sources, he smelled like a combination of sandalwood incense and wet grass (at some point in the 80s anyway– he probably changed his aftershave a couple times over the years).
