Do you collect vinyl? If so, which record(s) is/are at the very top of your wish list/what kinds of vinyl do you really like to buy?
Not surprisingly, one of the records I’m keeping my eyes out for is a butcher cover Yesterday and Today.
I’m also quite a sucker for coloured vinyl (as proved by my lovely marbled Sgt. Pepper , who as you all know is named Billy).
I don’t collect vinyl. Now that I’ve said that… I have like 50 records in my closet.
I really really really want Out Of The Blue by ELO, and I have been keen on a 2nd state butcher cover, but I don’t have any money. I also really want Venus & Mars, but I can never find it.
Edit: I guess I should’ve said, I don’t collect vinyl to re-sell them, more just to enjoy looking/listening to them. Besides, the ones I buy aren’t exactly in “collectible” condition.
I am you as you are you as you are you and you are all together.

My record collection consists of The Beatles, Paul Mccartney, Wings, George Harrison and Ringo Starr (sorry no John)
I don’t really collect vinyl; I haven’t bought a new record in years because my record player broke and I never bothered to fix it.

I got Venus And Mars on vinyl and it came with posters, and more excitingly, STICKERS. I put them on my spanish folder which has a lot of Beatles stickers on it.

I do. Believe it or not, I don’t buy much Beatles vinyl nowadays. Back in 2004 or 2005, I inherited my aunt’s collection, which was mostly Beatle-related. She had pretty much every Beatles album, nearly every Harrison solo album (she’s a George fan), a couple Lennon albums, a few McCartney albums, and every ’70s Ringo album. I collect to listen, not to have and resell, so I don’t bother seeking out rare copies or anything like that. So I’m more-or-less done buying Beatles-related vinyl. Like I said, I collect to listen, not to have rare copies, so I’m not above buying new vinyl. In fact, I just bought the latest of Montreal album on vinyl this past weekend.
I really like finding the sort of thing that you don’t see everywhere. The thing is, there are a billion Beatles albums out there, so finding one doesn’t thrill me that much. I like finding an album from a band that’s much less well-known than the Beatles.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I really hate that record collecting is “cool” now. I’ve been doing it for thirteen years and it was a lot more fun when I was first starting out. Now everybody collects it and the prices of good stuff have skyrocketed. Now the cardboard boxes full of records are a lot more crowded than they were ten years ago. I generally enjoyed it more before it was cool.

So, what you’re saying, @Starr Shine?, is that AD40 really is a senile 80-year-old man sitting in their underpants in a darkened room, the glow from computer screen being their only light source, surrounded by bottles of urine! So, AD40 really is the Howard Hughes of the BB Forum! Gadzooks! Who’d have thunk it? But if all the conspiracy theories are true…

To give a serious answer, however, the proposition is flawed.
It is an impossibility for all the conspiracy theories to be true, except in a parallel-but-slightly-different-worlds scenario, the multiverse. However, that is the only circumstance all conspiracy theories could be true, but each exist independent of each other. You could not have multiple versions of the same event in one time stream and have all be true. Most events that have conspiracy theories, have multiple conspiracies.
Paul died in a car crash. Paul didn’t die in a car crash. Three different dates for the car crash. Not all can be true.
John was shot and killed by a lone gunman who was mentally ill. John was shot and killed by a CIA-programmed assassin. John was shot and killed by Stephen King. John is alive and well and living it up with Elvis.
Not all conspiracy theories can be true.

Maybe the idea of death would work differently if it was just one universe. Maybe people spread out and multiply when the situation happens like when Paul is slated to die, he explodes into multiple people and dies in all the ways people say he does.

It would be no different than any other day, because if a theory is true, there is no conspiracy to begin with.
If you had asked “How would you react if all of the conspiracy theories were suddenly proven to be true?”, that would have been more accurate. Still, the question would have been rendered moot for the reasons cited by RN.
