So this is Xmas
And what have you done?
Another year over,
a new one just begun.
Looking back over your 2014 2015 how would you honestly assess it; good bad, indifferent? Did you reach any milestones, achieve any goals or just happy to see the back of it?

I think you mean 2015
It’s been a gear year, for me: I’ve improved my portraiture considerably; learned to play about 40 new songs; discovered thirty years’ worth of fab Harrisonics and been led to The One True Faith of George love . But I think the best bit is that I’ve joined this forum and come to know a wonderful group of folks who enrich my Beatlemadness daily.

I got to take a Beatles-soaked trip to the UK and meet several forumpudlians. That sure helped make it a awesome year. And hanging out with you all on the forum is a daily joy.

I hope none of the females here rate themselves higher than a 5 on the speed scale. Mother told me to stay away from fast women.

Overall I’d say it was a great year. It was our second full year in our new state working at our new jobs. Now that the learning curve is over, we have both settled in nicely. Our pets are healthy and happy as well.

Dickens says it all: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was ..”
I met HKL – amazingly good
I had to sell my home and move to rented accommodation – bad
And lots of other events at both ends of the scale and in-between

Thanks to our very special and wonderful @Ahhh Girl this has easily been my been my favourite year since the early ’90s. Ahhh, were she single and lived in the UK, what fun we would have!!!
For various reasons I won’t go into now the end of this year is a little trying, but it has given me reason to reflect on just how wonderful all the people on this really are. From @Joe on down, this forum is a remarkable place, and I look forward to the year ahead with such wonderful friends, no matter the trials that it may present.
I thank you all, and love you all lots
2015 was great, let’s make 2016 better!

I got no gear and it’s breaking my heart,
but I found this forum and that’s a start,
baby you can fab my gear,
something something rhymes with gear
something rhymes with gear again
and maybe I’ll love you beep beep beep beep yeah
More seriously, I’ve been slowly waking up musically which got started on a birthday gig a few years ago now and really pushed along by finding the forum, getting me to engage with music again on different levels, and I now have a gear acquisition plan which I hope will allow me to self-publish my own work, but it’s going to take a little time. There’s a few other things beginning to look up but that’s 2016’s story not 2015’s. So it’s a Good Start (much like the new Star Wars movie) in 2015!

For 2016 to turn out to be a lot better than 2015. To quote John “it can’t get much worse”. A lot of uncertainty and upheaval lies ahead.

That we vote out of the EU…….Cameron’s current hard won concoction of a deal, is well within the margins of the status quo.
That I can stay single.
That I can lose the last 4 KGs I put on with my balance problem earlier this year.
That England play well for once at the Euro Championship.
That my son’s last year at school and first boarding goes well for him……I’ve got him a wand for Christmas
That MMM comes across something that doesn’t bore him to death.
That Zig and Zag have a Zog…..(if they want one).
That things come together for Natureaker
To be cont.

I want ATMP !
Kidding, that’s not my best. I wish everyone the kind of Christmas that I take for granted– eating too much good food, bantering with relatives, playing music. Basically:
A very merry Christmas,
And a happy new year,
Let’s hope it’s a good one,
Without any fear.
