What do you think your forum legacy would be?
My over-the-top obsession with Paul McCartney ? Well, several of us have that in common.
The “Name the song that goes with this picture” thread.
Hopefully people will remember that I’m kinda nice and helpful.
And, as @georgiewood mentioned, I like to search for stuff. 🙂
What I’m really curious to know, if anyone would like to answer, is what do YOU think my legacy would be? Just so you know, I’m not leaving any time soon.

A dedicated part of the forum will be created by Joe showcasing the acclaim, amazement and awe at how every single one of my posts was highly informative, intelligent and insightful. The very best 17k will be rotated on the main home page (a new top twenty daily) with a user vote on which ones sadly are to be excluded – tears will be shed, arguments will arise at such very difficult decisions. This sub-forum will be dedicated in and to my name and memory.

A heightened awareness of penguins and bass players? If not, my task is not yet done.

In addition to her searching skills and her proclivity to be caring and helpful to the community, I also see @Ahhh Girl as a fierce defender of the Lads and the Forum, when she needs to be. Kinda like Carol on the Walking Dead.

Ahhh Girl, ewe2, Zig, Mr. KiteI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

Woof. Grrr. Protective den mother. I’m sure Paul McCartney could make a song out of that.
@ewe2, are there any bass playing penguins?
I sure do like that picture of the bass player.

What I’m really curious to know, if anyone would like to answer, is what do YOU think my legacy would be? Just so you know, I’m not leaving any time soon.
Your legacy involves: never-ending enthusiasm for the lads, all aspects of forumia, and life; ever-present helpfulness; excellent thread-searching skills; general kindness; Founder of the ever-popular ‘Name the Beatles song that goes with this picture’ game; and just being Ahhh Girl.
That sound right, lads?
My forum-legacy will probably be something like ‘the one who made the rooftop in two months and wouldn’t shut up about George and drew Beatles and was generally Silly’.

You’re definitely the prime Georgist on the site and it is very much appreciated! Although how you manage to post so much makes me suspect you’ve got a time-turner.

I figured someone would say my legacy would be my assumed persona in the thread about the Beatles landing in New York today.
I wouldn’t make Paul 21. That would make me a cradle robber or a cougar. I want him like he is!
