When do you sleep last night>It was this morning; stuff happening.
And a possum moved into the roof space vacated by the rats and woke me up at 5.30.
Charge it rent.
I might have to – it’s illegal to get rid of them here even though they are a major pest; so you have to move them out of your house, find out how they get in, and plug the gap.
As I will be leaving here in 3 weeks I might leave that for the new owners to enjoy (they have been a bit difficult and deserve a nice gift) and just put up with no sleep for a while – like so many folks here seem to.
I hope the new house you move in don’t have possum
Same here – it should be okay – houses have to have a pest inspection and treatment before they can be rented out.

Well, for one, I’d be smelling my eyes all day.

Talking of possums in the house………
During my first divorce………I found myself living in rented accommodation in Penn in Buckinghamshire…….
One morning I opened the airing cupboard door and saw a Gliss-Gliss staring back at me. Apparently imported to Britain by the Romans and considered a delicacy, they look like a small squirrel….. The area of Bucks around Amersham is one of their last relative ‘strongholds’ though they are endangered and protected. Sightings are rare.
I left food out for it……It was nice to have the company.
However, if it had been my house I might have felt less altruistic.

How different would your life be if the hair on your head was as long as the hair on your beard?

Your beard, @Necko, is shorter than the hair on your head, and @Starr Shine?’s Truth seemed to me to be asking how your life would differ if you had shorter hair rather than a longer beard.

And I know it wasn’t meant for me but it’s worth noting it would make little difference to me as I don’t have much of either 🙂

Ugh. But I bought a good microphone and I’m trying to like it more by doing something with it. It’s the tragedy of my fandom that I can’t match even Lennon’s and some of Starr’s range and as I age even that is beginning to shrink. So I have to figure out a way to sing stuff of my own again which I haven’t tried for 25 years.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Singing or speaking?
Singing: a bit thin but enthusiastic, girlish (in an almost-tenor-range way), not overly loud (unless I want it to be).
Speaking: low in both tone and volume generally. Can be higher-pitched and louder if I’m excited. Lower when I’m tired or lazy. Carries pretty well when I make it, but I generally don’t– it always sounds perfectly loud to me.

Singing: Like a 7 year old boy
Speaking: Soft, with an accent, not low in tone but not high either and I always sound like I’ve got a cold. If I’m doing a presentation or telling a story it’s often monotonous, because I’m too busy in my head with thinking of what I want to tell. I have to work on that. Oh and when I’m excited about something it’s loud, but not too loud.
The cold thing bothers me more though.

I actually have a cold right now, so I sound like I have a cold. I can sing Anna (Go To Him) real well.

An odd mix of Welsh and English accents with a slight Oz twang. A little on the ‘heavy’ side.
Sounds grand. I’d love to hear ye– I collect accents, y’know.
But I do believe we were asked to describe our voices, not our accents… 🙂

I speak quite loud in real life (I blame it on being told to project my voice ever since I’ve been 4 >.> ). I also speak less clearly than I do in AD’s videos as I try and make myself more easily understood than how I speak in real-life, especially because a good few members aren’t native English speakers- they might find a “bogger” accent like I have, kind-of difficult to understand (although I’m not an 1/8 as bad as some people- like this man, although he isn’t that bad either, some people especially from the mountain areas- it goes in one ear out the other).
Apart from that, ye all know the rest 😛

How would you describe your voice?Honestly, I would say I have a bit of a low voice. But it depends on if I’m trying to change what it sounds like – I can make my voice go really deep while saying “I’m Batman”. Also, people can hear a Boston accent in my voice, somehow.
I shall now commence reading all your posts with a slight Bostonian twang.
(You can read mine with the slightest nearly unnoticeable trace of a Southern accent, though that really depends on my mood and who I’ve been talking to. I generally have a neutral American accent, with the slightest of Southern colourings, which becomes more noticeable when I’m around people with proper Southern accents a lot.)
