My birthday is on the 24th of November.
That's my birthday too! It's also Pete Best's.
Wow! First time I have even heard of ANYONE sharing my birthday. And I didn't know Pete Best's was the 24th too!
Yeah, I went to his Wikipedia page once and had to do a double-take. Turns out he's exactly 52 years older than me.

Thanks all! Three today. It’s been busy. I’m bloody knackered and need a holiday, but 920,000 words and thousands of articles is something to be proud of.
Thanks also to you all for making the forum such a success. It has its ups and downs but it’s mostly really good. As Ellie said after her one-and-only visit, “Everyone’s so nice in there!”

OK- I looked it up and for the 3rd anniversary, a traditional gift would be leather. The website I checked said a more modern 3rd anniversary gift would be crystal. Since I consider the lads to be traditional versus modern, I have compiled a list of leather gifts for our favorite site.
A Hold Me Tight belt
An Across the UniVest
A Keep Your Hands Off My Wallet (OK, a cover tune I know – sue me)
Penny Loafers
A pair of You Got to Hide Your Gloves Away.
Congrats Joe – here’s to many more years of being slightly less popular then Jesus.
Cheers!

Joe -I remember you saying in a previous thread that you bought a pair once and did not like the way they looked on you. My wife bought me a pair for X-mas and I had the same issue. We took 'em back.
Someday, we will find ones we like!

Goodbye 3rd year, or how I put it, The Year of A Hard Day's Night. We commence The Year of Beatles For Sale ! Let's hope it lasts 'til Let it Be and beyond. Happy Birthday to the Bible and a big thank you to Joe and the forum members.
You all will have read that Dave Dee is no longer with us. But Mickey and Titch and I would like to carry on the good work that's always gone down in number two.
I may as well give a quick update while I’m here. I’ve not published anything new for a while, but I’m working on a load of illustrated international Beatles discographies. When I’m done there’ll be a total of 57 countries, with scans of a lot of cover art. It’s taking a while but will be worth it. I’m currently on D (is for Denmark). Beyond that I don’t really have plans, though at some point I’ll finish off 1961 and 1962.
Zig – I think Chelsea boots are the way forward. I had some saved in my Amazon basket but the price doubled before I got round to buying them. My brother in law’s getting married this summer and I’m planning to get a proper early 60s mod suit for it, and some good boots.

Wow!! Congratulations BBF!!!
I love this place. I love it. It's my sanity spot in this crazy life. Joe, I'm sure you have read the news from Mexico. And I'm sure you know that I mean it.
And it has given me enough inspiration to go back to my first love: Writing. If that project sees the light of the day, (I'm sure it will) it will be dedicated to Beatles Bible forum.
Thanks Joe.
And the universe agrees!! 9!

You are going to love this. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw what they were called. I think I would go with a lower heel, though. That's why I returned the first pair.
Sorry for the derailment folks. I don't mean to turn this into a thread about men's footwear, but Christ almighty what a coincidence!
I'll try my best to going forward.

Happy Birthday BeatlesBible! All praise to Joe, thanks to Skye and Ellie, and a hearty hello to my fellow BBers. Thanks for making this thing what it is and what it will continue to be!
(920,000 words! Incredible.)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.
