Happy Birthday , @IveJustSeenAFaceo! How old is that now?
You do get that with birthdays, particularly certain birthdays! Those hyped as landmarks make you feel as if you should feel different, as if there should be something different about you. But you keep finding you feel exactly the same as the day before your age changed.
I don’t think I’ve ever really felt older on my birthday. It’s only the increasingly creaking bones that lets you know you’re not as young as your mind keeps telling you.
You’ve got all that to look forward to!

Got a nice set of stuff, mostly music. The only non-musical thing was Anthony Horowitz’s Moriarty, which looks very interesting.
I also got Rocksmith 2014, which is basically Rock Band, except you have to play the actual instrument, rather than a plastic controller.
Then, a ton of CDS: Coheed and Cambria’s Good Apollo I’m Burning Star IV, Volume 1., Jethro Tull’s Thick as a Brick, Porcupine Tree’s Fear of a Blank Planet, and Nine Inch Nails’ The Fragile and The Downward Spiral.

Offline Quick side note, @IveJustSeenAFaceo, that Rocksmith game sounds like a really interesting concept. Definitely more useful than other similar video games. I just looked up a video because I was curious as to how it displayed the notes you were to play, and it seems difficult to follow.
Is it hard, or does it just take a bit to get used to? I guess if you’ve learned the song well enough it doesn’t matter!

@Mr. Kite Actually, I realized that it’s kind of pointless, because really if you already know how to play the instrument (and I do), you can just play. I haven’t played it yet, and I’m still torn between returning it or not.
UPDATE: I’ve played it now. It’s great. Definitely keeping it. However, Microsoft decided to lock me out of my account, which means every bit of DLC I’ve ever purchased is gone in a poof. And I’ve purchased a lot. I’m very angry right now.
UPDATE TWO: Got back in to my Microsoft account, only because I miraculously guessed my old password right on the email I haven’t used for years.
