Thank you very much! I didn’t realize this topic existed, shows how much I stick to the Beatles forums on here…I need to spend more time on the off-topic, too, it seems!

Thanks, all! It was yesterday and I did indeed have a good one…got sent home early from work because of the massive snowstorm, so spent it at home with my wife and 4 kids. Wife made a great dinner and she made my favorite (carrot cake), put the kids to bed so I could go for my run, and basically treated me like a king for a day which was really nice! Good thing I’m having some lovely flowers delivered to her today as a surprise :D

Very nice. Sorry I got my greeting in so late last night. There was still a sliver of the 13th left in the jolly USA when I posted. Anyhoo, glad you had a great one!

And…happiest of birthday wishes to you, Sitting on a Cornflake.

Happy Birthday to all of the Feb-ulous folks who share a birthday this month. That includes my wife and my favorite Beatle. Their Birthdays are only a day apart.

ASJ, you share a birthday with my dog. Yes, we do celebrate it in our house.a-hard-days-night-ringo-12 Nothing’s too good for our critters!

We used to celebrate my cat’s birthday, and I really have no idea why… We weren’t even sure what day he was born, we just knew it was in April… a-hard-days-night-john-7

I have no idea what my dog’s birthday is, so I just celebrate it on Jan. 1.

I don’t celebrate my dogs birthday. Aside from giving him a pat and a treat what else is there?

Well, we didn’t do a party for him or anything like that, but we might buy him a new collar (which he’d then go and lose like all the others).

We buy gourmet treats (yes – sadly, there is such a thing here in the good ol’ USA) for our Lily. They tend to disappear just as quickly as fabfouremily‘s cat’s collars.

You can get ”gourmet” animal food here, too. Never really saw the point of it. My cat, at least, will eat anything – gourmet or not.

You can buy highly fancy expensive cat litter, and then all those clothes that folks dress their pets in. I wouldn’t be able to look my dog or cats in the eye if they were wearing a pair of trousers. The animals just look daft.
