Wow, I’m surprised I managed to earn that title – what an honor – thank you so much, everyone. I want to thank my family, my parents who put up with me getting “Starman” stuck in their heads, my sister who doesn’t like Bowie and has to live with me, my friends who support me in my darkest Bowiebinges, the estimable @Joe and @Zig whose fondness for Bowie made me think, “Hm, I should check out that guy’s music”…

Thanks! I have had quite a nice day, though I should have gotten up earlier so it would have been longer. Quarantine is basically just normal life for me so I’m having a grand old time.

Thanks RN! It wasn’t spoilt at all. My actual birthday I usually just hang out at home with my family anyway, and we’ll have a party on a nearby date; today I just had a video call with my mates, we played an online game and I opened up my presents (those I bought meself and a package my wizard-friend sent me of drawings and such), and another one of my friends biked over to deliver a present and we had a chat from a nice safe social distance, so it was just fine. I do hope we’ll be able to have a proper party next year… with legal alcohol (jk I honestly don’t think I can be bothered to drink anyway, and I doubt being another year older will change that).

Again, thank you all so much. You really do make me feel so loved and appreciated every year.
