Thanks for the early wishes. In the states it isn’t until tomorrow, but tonight i’m celebrating my Aussie birthday by going to a basketball game with my dad.

It’s one thing to have the awesome feeling of someone complimenting you on your artist/band shirt, but I imagine it’s even better if someone notices that you’re wearig clothing influenced by their style… sadly I can’t pick an artist to go for consistently, so I’m stuck with whatever artist looks like a stereotypical introvert

I’ll echo those remarks; nice to see you here and posting, Sir Walter. Happy birthday, hope you enjoyed the game.
And happy belated (or not) birthdays as well, to the belated (or not) David Bowie, Elvis Presley, and Jimmy Page.

It’s rare that anyone notices an overt Bowie influence, because I usually go after his more subtle looks. I’m not walking around in a Ziggy bodysuit or anything. I think it may have happened once or twice, though.

Why not go for Lou Reed? I doubt anybody will notice.
Its 45 min before midnight, but Happy Birthday to Dave Matthews. He deserves the love

And happy birthday to Jimmy also, even though I’ve been stuck in baby-mode Led Zeppelin fandom for forever lol. I will say I dig the artwork, Beatlebug! Would love to see more drawings from you with that thicker line style.
Well, you can always get more into Zeppelin… today is an excellent day for it if you want any song recommendations or advice, just ask!
The full set of Zepp cards is over in my drawing thread, I was so proud of that quadryptich that I really haven’t felt the need to use that style since but I’m sure I’ll pull it out again some time or other…

Probably my favourite of your avatars so far! I particularly like the addition of Zoso in the top corner
dammit I’m gonna have to do a nicer version of my regular avatar then I do like it very much, but I can’t infringe on WeepyC’s position as Official Jimmytar Holder of the Beatles Bible.

WeepyC came into the fray as the premier Jimmy Page fan, and will remain, regardless of your avatar changes. I really like it.

Seeing how much y’all seem to like it, I may have to give it more air time than just Jimmy’s birthday. I’ll think about bringing it out periodically. That’s the best you’re going to get – I have a brand to keep up, y’know.

Also, is it ok if I add that quote to my signature? ‘Cause I might just make that my signature, I like it that much.

Oops looks like I’ll have to throw my own surprise party (I’m sure Bebu remembers though as she always remembers my birthday, it’s something wonderfully creepy that I can always count on <3 she just hasn’t been on yet today and I’ll be signing off soon to go to bed so….)
Happy Birthday to me!
