Yay, Lily! Looks like you’ve healed up since you were attacked. Glad you made it to another birthday little precious pumpkin.

I appreciate your remembering that – thanks for the sentiment.
Actually, that photo was taken in Maine when we first got her. It was taken in our back yard. She has healed nicely, thank you. I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years already since she was attacked. She is one tough nut.

Cute dog. What did you get her Zig?
Tonight after dinner, she will get a new squeaky toy and special gourmet* dog cookies.
*that’s what it says on the package – I’ll take their word for it*

Okay – the rush is over.
Time to pop out and get ingredients for the next batch of cake. Maybe some hats and streamers as well – running a bit low.

Thanks everyone 🙂 + well done at remembering Silly Girl.
It was pretty lax as far as it went as in I didn’t have presents, cards what not. It was kind of like an ordinary day except I went to dinner with my mam and brother (then I had to go to my French course afterwards boo).
That and only two of my friends remembered it was my birthday
Anyhoo, I might be getting a cake on Saturday- we shall see.
Also yay now I can legally…
vote and buy knifes
yayyyyyyyy
Happy Belated Birthday to all the other February 2nd babies and pups.

Not a great idea for both to be legalised considering the amounts of idiots in politics.
Maybe they are all planning a big surprise party at the weekend @AppleScruffJunior.
Hopefully you had a nice birthday meal and didn’t have to pay the pay the meal (“got the bill and Rite paid it” – is your mam called Rita by any chance?)

Nah that isn’t the Scruff family way, the whole clan might go to a restaurant on Saturday though, with my granddad, dad and the other brother.

I only paid the tip and funnily enough now that you mention Rita….
….no she isn’t 😛

Is it becoming more common in Europe to leave a tip? or did your wait person do a really, really good job?

Shouldn’t the restaurant pay the wait staff instead of relying on the customer?

If you get good service, people tend to leave some sort of tip. Well, we do anyway.

^ What they said and generally if you’re a bigish group who is there for more than an hour and have 2-3 courses, ye might as well give them €2-€5 as a bonus but it’s not as bad as in the States where you have to tip 15%/20% at nearly every restaurant you go to.
