Offline It was shortly before 9/09/09, and the impending re-release of the CD catalogue had me newly excited and obsessive about my favourite band again (for the first time in several years), and I was reading all kindsa stuff on the web, confirming stuff I knew while learning new things; and somewhere I read the claim that “Tomorrow Never Knows “‘ guitar solo was just the “Taxman ” solo tape-reversed. (Which it isn’t!) And I googled other sources to find out more details, and one of the results led me here, and I was so impressed with Joe’s site and quantity of info that I commenced exploring the whole place. I added a few comments and replies to the “Things We Said Today ” section over the next few weeks, but it wasn’t until late November that I got the notion to venture to the Fab Forum and register as vonbontee (Von Bontee came two weeks later.)
I’ve posted at least once monthly since then (although I was a bit occupied for a bit in early 2016, managing only a single “No words 🙁 – R.I.P.” in March/April, whichever month George Martin died) It’s averaged out to about 2 1/2, 2 1/4 posts daily, or thereabouts…
