Freaking “Honky Cat” won’t leave my brain— it stook the spot of “Nowadays” as the song perpetually stuck in my head and the song that I have to sing around the house.
Yesterday I listened to it probably like twenty times, no joke. It got stuck in my head after I watched Rocketman (I freaking love that movie btw I cried like a baby and Taron Egerton is freaking amazing but anyhoo) But I’m not complaining– it’s a terrific song. It really gets me into my element and it’s a song that I love to dance to (I was really busting a move to it while doing the dishes yesterday.)
I can see this as the beginning of an Elton John binge
And the way Elton delivers it too– magnificent! My favorite part is when he sings “About those high class ladies down in New Orleans”, adding those subtle stresses and micro-pauses– my sweet lord what a performance!
~Ooooh, Change is gonna do me good!~

I listened to David Gilmour’s eponymous solo album three times today and now I have approximately lots of it stuck in my head, mostly “Raise My Rent”, “No Way”, and “I Can’t Breathe Anymore”

He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

right?! and the chemistry between them is lovely as well. And there’s so much pretty blond hair – I didn’t realize how much I appreciate floofy blond hair (in general, as opposed to Robert Plant specifically ) till I watched it
imagine a video that had Stevie, Tom, Robert Plant, and Roger Taylor on drums

Same– and I always thought I wasn’t into blondes but they are definitely the exceptions to that rule

Love that song too @sir walter raleigh . This is the demo from the abandoned Lifehouse project. It’s cool to hear Pete working it out live.

Let’s See Action may be the best song ive heard in a long time. “I don’t know where I’m going, I don’t know what I need”. So good. I can only imagine these tunes on the same album as Bargain, Love Aint For Keeping, Getting In Tune, Behind Blue Eyes, etc.

1) I love this song and 2) I just think it’s so cute how the crowd just starts singing the entire song themselves
